Re: [SOGo] does not support result references yet

2016-01-18 Thread Florian Unger

Hi,

I just had the same error message when running sogo-tool
and an overall very slow behaviour of SOGo with very high cpu load.

I found this old post from 2008 about the same error:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.cms.opengroupware.sogo/858

Back then it happened when using Active Directory as LDAP source in combination with
Thunderbird, which is also my scenario.

the solution was

You have to write
IDFieldName = sAMAccountName;
instead of
IDFieldName = cn;

in the config of AD LDAP source.

This helped to solve my issue.

Best regards
Florian

[SOGo] Send Mail button is disabled on SOGo v3

2016-01-18 Thread Emilio Fonseca

Hi all,

I have a question:
When I'm typing a new Mail, if the recipient is not one of my Contacts
in my address book, the Send button keeps disabled.

Is that a bug or a characteristic of SOGo v3?

Kind regards,

Sorry, I should have included that. When I log into webmail and go to
preferences, the "Current Time Zone" is set to "America/Denver" -- so
same as in t-bird, desktop and server. Any other places to check? It
feels like a timezone issue, but I don't know how or why it would show
up all of a sudden.

[SOGo] ANN: SOGo v2.3.6

2016-01-18 Thread Ludovic Marcotte
The Inverse Team is pleased to announce the immediate availability of
SOGo 2.3.6. This is a minor release of SOGo which focuses on small new
features and improved stability over previous versions.

 What is SOGo

calendars, address books and emails through your favorite Web browser or
by using a native client such as Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning,
Apple Calendar and Address Book (Mac OS X and iOS) and Microsoft Outlook.

SOGo is standard-compliant and supports CalDAV, CardDAV and reuses
existing IMAP, SMTP and database servers - making the solution easy to
deploy and interoperable with many applications.

SOGo features:

 * Scalable architecture suitable for deployments from dozen to many
   thousand users
 * Rich Web-based interface that shares the look and feel, the features
and the data of Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning
 * Improved integration with Mozilla Thunderbird and Lightning by using
the SOGo Connector and the SOGo Integrator
 * Native compatibility for Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013
 *

Two-way synchronization support with any Microsoft
ActiveSync-capable device (Apple iOS, Android, Windows Phone,
   BlackBerry 10) or Outlook 2013

 * Excellent native integration with Apple software (Mac OS X and iOS)
   and Android-based devices

and many more! SOGo and our connectors are completely free.

 Changes from the previous release

*New features*

 * now able to sync only default mail folders when using EAS

*Enhancements*

 *

   unit testing for RTFHandler

 *

   JUnit output for sogo-tests

*Bug fixes*

 * do not unescape twice mail folder names (#3423)
 * do not consider mobile Outlook EAS clients as DAV ones (#3431)
 * we now follow 301 redirects when fetching ICS calendars
 * when deleting an event using EAS, properly invoke the
   auto-scheduling code
 * do not include failure attachments (really long filenames)
 * fix encoding of email subjects with non-ASCII characters
 *

fix appointment notification mails using SOGoEnableDomainBasedUID
   configuration

 * fix shifts in event times on Outlook

Re: [SOGo] Calendar Timezone-like errors (webmail & lightning)

2016-01-18 Thread Ben
Some more information on my (probably) timezone error. I created an
event externally and invited myself. The ICS file is right and using the
ICS Inspector t-bird plugin, I can view the ICS file as it is reported
to t-bird by SOGo. The file looks correct and is shown below (I've
removed some lines that aren't relevant)

BEGIN:VTIMEZONE
TZID:America/Denver
BEGIN:DAYLIGHT
TZOFFSETFROM:-0700
TZOFFSETTO:-0600
TZNAME:MDT
DTSTART:19700308T02
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYDAY=2SU;BYMONTH=3
END:DAYLIGHT
BEGIN:STANDARD
TZOFFSETFROM:-0600
TZOFFSETTO:-0700
TZNAME:MST
DTSTART:19701101T02
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYDAY=1SU;BYMONTH=11
END:STANDARD
END:VTIMEZONE
BEGIN:VEVENT
CREATED:20160116T000552Z
LAST-MODIFIED:20160116T002552Z
DTSTAMP:20160116T002552Z
SUMMARY:Test
DTSTART;TZID=America/Denver:20160122T12
DTEND;TZID=America/Denver:20160122T13
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR

The event is on Jan 22nd at 12:00 America/Denver time, where that
timezone is defined as -0700 by the TIMEZONE section (Jan is between Nov
and March, and thus Standard time). Everything looks good here. But the
event shows up in SOGo webmail at "11:00 MST" If I change my timezone
preferences in SOGo to Chicago timezone, the event shows up at "12:00
CST" so it is doing the adjustments for timezone, but somehow is reading
the time wrong for the ICS file.

Is there a way to get more information on why SOGo web views the event
as being at 11 and not 12? Any other ideas of things to check / change
or report?

For the full story, here's the original post
. Also,
could this be similar to
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1086573

Thanks,

Ben
