Where is the repository for v2 now?

It's back.

The v3.0.2 release was incorrectly pushed to the v2 repo for a short
period of time. All is good now and v3.0.2 will be announced shortly.

[SOGo] Warning: apt-get upgrade on Ubuntu updates 2.3.8 to 3.0.2

2016-03-05 Thread ruud.van.lent
Hi,

just got a little surprise when I did a apt-get update && apt-get upgrade on
my ubuntu server.
It upgraded sogo from version 2.3.8 to 3.0.2

Not sure if you are aware of this but I can imagine that this is NOT an
upgrade people want to get forced :(

For me it worked out okay, so my users are now on the new 3.0.2 version and it
works okay. Would have appreciated a heads-up though :)

[SOGo] Users not returned as meeting attendees

2016-03-05 Thread Peter B

Ubuntu 14.04, SOGo 3 nightlies (currently 3.0.1.20160304-1)

When adding attendees to an event users are not returned as search results.

(output below is form live system with search/replace on domains and
users - client privacy and all that)

From sogo.conf

mydomain.com = {
  SOGoMailDomain = mydomain.com;
  SOGoUserSources = (

  UIDFieldName = uid;
  IDFieldName = uid; // first field of the DN for direct binds

  canAuthenticate = YES;
  hostname = ldap://127.0.0.1:389;
  id = public_mydomaincom;
  isAddressBook = YES;
  filter = "(uid='*@mydomain.com')";
}

[SOGo] is v3 now default ?

2016-03-05 Thread Peter Beck
Hi there,

Running Debian Stable with SOGo 2.3.8

ii  sogo:amd64   2.3.8-1
amd64a modern and scalable groupware

just made an apt-get update / apt-get upgrade and it seems that SOGo v3
is ready to install, but I've never changed my sources to v3. Is that
intended or a "bug" ?

The following packages will be upgraded:
  libsbjson2.3 libsope-appserver4.9 libsope-core4.9 libsope-gdl1-4.9
libsope-ldap4.9 libsope-mime4.9 libsope-xml4.9 sogo sogo-activesync
  sope4.9-gdl1-mysql sope4.9-libxmlsaxdriver

Regards
Peter
