[SOGo] Verify Invite Sent

2016-07-15 Thread Bob Wooldridge
How do you verify that all people invited to an event have been sent an
invitation? Does this show up in the sogo log or should I rely on smtp log?

Yes there is now.
You may need to install apt-transport-https package.
Problem might be with IPv6 though, let me get back to you.

> What's going on ?

For all distributions of SOGo except Ubuntu Xenial, OpenChange support
is being dropped. So please `apt-get remove sogo-openchange` then
proceed to the upgrade.

If you still need OpenChange support, please consider installing SOGo on
Ubuntu Xenial.

(OpenChange support has been a hot topic on this list in the last weeks,
but to give a quick explanation, current OpenChange needs Samba >= 4.4
and from the set of distributions Inverse supports, only Xenial
currently ships with Samba >= 4.4.)

Re: [SOGo] Attachments for appointments

2016-07-15 Thread Christian Mack
Hello

That is right, and intentional.
Even the standard discourages the use of binary attachments in events.
Just think of mobiles, which have to synchronize those on every change
of the event.

Therefore SOGo only supports URL attachments.
They can point to every file space you have access to.
I know of people using ownCloud, FTP servers or even Alfresco for
storage of such files.

Kind regards,
Christian Mack
