SOGo offers webmail, CalDAV (calendar, tasks), CardDAV (contacts), and
ActiveSync services.

*) With CalDAV service, you can configure mail clients to sync calendar and
tasks.
*) With CardDAV service, you can configure mail clients to sync contacts.
*) With ActiveSync service, you can configure mail clients which supports
Exchange ActiveSync protocol (like MS Outlook and mobile phones) to sync
calendar, contacts, tasks, emails.

We have some tutorials to help iRedMail users setup mail clients, maybe it
helps you a little:
http://www.iredmail.org/docs/#mua

- Exchange ActiveSync: Setup Android devices
- Exchange ActiveSync: Setup BlackBerry 10 devices
- Exchange ActiveSync: Setup iOS devices
- Exchange ActiveSync: Setup Outlook 2013 for Windows
- Mac OS X: Add contact service (CardDAV) in Contacts.app
- Mac OS X: Add calendar (CalDAV) and task (Reminders) service in iCalendar.app

2016-11-20 Thread adg adg82439
Hi Keith,

as I want to switch from windows with outlook ( email some accounts some
provider, contacts, calendar events )

where easily can sync contacts and calendar to my nokia symbina phone, to linux
and Sogo might be useful.

As I understand SOGo is a Groupware which can sync by active sync.

But I do not find how to use Sogo after installation.

Jo

Hey newbie,

I am thankfull that Christian replied on this as I deleted (unplanned)
your original email... x-(

There is no "easy" manual for SOGo.. but I am going to guess that you
are making the same mistake I did.

Don't think of SOGo as a complete email solution. What SOGo does very,
very genios(TM)-ly, is to make almost any email type service a compete
collaborative/business type solution.

SOGo is the extra gear. SOGo basically provides to your already setup
email server ( be that your local mail server or outside service
provider ) and then servers the calendar/contacts Active Sync or DAV. So
no need for a out of box licensed system or propietary system.

So more of a layer to take your average mail system to professional
collaboration. :-)

So if you want to get to grips with SOGo and a mail solution quickly..
there's a awesome solution called iredmail (http://www.iredmail.org/)
that will set up a system from scratch to a complete solution. Check it out.

If this doesn't help, buzz me on my private email addie and we get it
sorted :-)

Regards,

[SOGo] cannot send message: (smtp) all recipients discarded

2016-11-20 Thread "Martin"
Hello,

I´ve done a trial setup of SOGo a few month ago, everything worked fine,
today i´ve retested a few things and now I can´t send mails via smtp because
I get the message „cannot send message: (smtp) all recipients discarded”

I´ve already rechecked mailserver and I can send mails through smtp so i´m
sure there should be no problem.

Regards Martin
