Hello!

Thank you all of you! I discussed with the customer and he choosed to go with 
the Outlook CalDAV Synchronizer and don't use MAPI at all.

[SOGo] Sogo Exception with non empty subject

Helo,

my first message to the list, I’m a long time user of Sogo, very happy with 
both versions (2 and 3).
After a server replacement, I have installed sogo 2.3.22 (@shiva.inverse 
201707240516), restore mysql database and sogo conf.
Sogo works very well except annoying problem.
Each time I write a message, if the subject is filled, it is impossible to send 
or to save it (see error message of sogo.log hereunder).
Even attach a file to a new message with a subject leads to an error:
« Error while uploading the file « .pdf »: An error occurred while 
contacting the server. Please try again later »

I have search a lot but didn’t find where it come from and what it means.

sorry, didn’t search enough, problem solved.
It was entirely my fault, the version of sope was not the good one, after a 
reinstall, everything works fine.

No, there is no visible difference between normal accounts and resource
accounts.
This is by design, and some users depend on that, as they use normal
user accounts with resource attributes, in order to automatically accept
invitations when free.

You could do that as Super User (see SOGoSuperUsernames) in the web
frontend, or using sogo-tool manage-acl on the command line.

If you have set your default privileges in your sogo.conf (see
SOGoCalendarDefaultRoles), then perhaps you do not have to do anything.
Those default roles are inherited when creating a calendar.

Yes, it needs a mailbox for invitation emails.

This mailbox is not processed by SOGo in any way.
And it can not, as SOGo does not know your IMAP passwords.

If you receive invitations from within the same SOGo instance, those
emails are not needed, it will autoaccept those invitations internally.

But when you receive invitations from outside, SOGo will not see them.
They have to be added manually from someone logging in as resource user.

[SOGo] Help with Resources in SOGo

I'm trying to configure resource booking in SOGo like described here:
http://wiki.sogo.nu/ResourceConfiguration. I've managed to add the
calendarResource schema to 389DS and the example resource as entry to
the LDAP directory.

In sogo.conf I added the location where the resources are stored in LDAP
to SOGoUserSources:

At least I can see the defined resource in the address book. But in the
new event view it doesn't appear as resource. I can add it in the
"Invite Attendees" field, but it shows as regular user. Shouldn't it be
displayed as resource?

[SOGo] Version Number in nightly repo

Hi list,

In the directory of the nightly repo I see that the files are updated
daily but they have an outdated version number. Is there a reason why
the version number is outdated?

E.g. the file

sogo-3.2.10.20170724-1.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm

in the directory

http://packages.inverse.ca/SOGo/nightly/3/rhel/7/x86_64/RPMS/

Shouldn't this be now either
sogo-3.2.22.20170724-1.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm or then only
sogo-20170724-1.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm as they are not specific to
version numbers?

Yes, you can use one SOGoUserSources entry for the address book and one
for the authentication part.
The address book has "isAddressBook = YES;" and "canAuthenticate = NO;".
The authentication one has "isAddressBook = NO;" and "canAuthenticate =
YES;".

I have moved it outside of SOGoUserSources, and it doesn't work either.

Could it be that it doesn't work because of a SQL type in SOGoUserSources?
