Re: [SOGo] sogod: error while loading shared libraries: libgnustep-base.so.1.24: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

2023-10-08 Thread "Philippe Eveleigh"
Thanks Marco M. for the quick reply. I do not need version 1.24 anymore. I
created a user for filling a bug as you suggested but my profile is locked as a
viewer? So I am hoping that someone on the support team at:
https://bugs.sogo.nu/login_page.php will see this thread.

Thank you again Marco

As long as that is linked to 1.24, it will break. Does you distribution
also offer that old version?
If not, you can't do anything about it and SOGo must be fixed to not
link against that version for RHEL9.

Re: [SOGo] EAS calendar sync: xml2wbxml error

2023-10-08 Thread Paul Leiber

Am 28.09.2023 um 22:14 schrieb Paul Leiber (p...@onlineschubla.de):

Hi everybody,

for some time now I am having issues when syncing my calendar using Nine
Folders android app and SOGo EAS. E-Mail and Tasks are synced correctly.

In SOGo log, the following lines appear when trying to sync the calendar:

Sep 28 21:57:17 sogod [149165]:
<0x0x555b6f69f880[SOGoActiveSyncDispatcher]> Change detected during
Sync, we push the content.
Sep 28 21:57:17 sogod [149165]: [ERROR] <0x0x555b7006a0a0[NSDataMalloc]>
xml2wbxml failed: Parsing of XML Document Failed

Sep 28 21:57:17 sogod [149165]: [ERROR] <0x0x555b7006a0a0[NSDataMalloc]>
Original data written to: /tmp/_246ad_2ac6121d_0.data

I am running SOGo nightlies on Debian 12, I updated SOGo to the latest
version. Debian is also up do date.

Is this an error in SOGo, or is there a bad XML format in one of the
calendar entries? If one or more of the calendar entries are at fault,
how can I identify the faulty one(s)?

For future reference:

Calendar sync via CalDAV works, so it seems to be a ActiveSync issue.

I found the offending XML entry by checking the validity of the data
file (referenced to in SOGo log) with xmllint. The ORGANIZER entry
contained an e-mail address in angle brackets: This
seems to be the cause, after removing the brackets, synching works again.

Best regards,

Paul

I've added "-lytnef" in BUNDLE_LIBS in file
SOGo-5.9.0/SoObjects/Mailer/GNUmakefile.preamble

It resolved the issue.
