Can you share your apache config?

also, from the sogo server, try this:

curl -L http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo

Then post the result (and the related apache logs and sogo logs)

[SOGo] Facing Errors after Sope Library updates

2012-11-15 Thread Devinder Singh

Hi ,

I am facing issues after I upgraded the Sope Packages. I am on Centos6
- 64 bit

I upgraded the Sope packages from below location one by one
http://inverse.ca/downloads/SOGo/RHEL5/nightly/x86_64/RPMS/

rpm -i .rpm

I got issues with Lib files while restarting the SOGo. as it could not
find /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.6 etc.. files.

To solve it, I created the symlinks on those items and was able to start
the SOGo. Created the symlink on libmysqlclient.so.15 to 16.

However, below are some of the errors that I receive in the sogo.log
after this upgrade.

2012-11-15 11:43:08.468 sogod[4370] Cannot load adaptor bundle 'MySQL'
Error (objc-load):libmysqlclient.so.15: cannot open shared object file:
No such file or directory

Kindly guide how can I upgrade the sope without any such issues. If any
conflict guide how can I revert back to old packages.

[SOGo] Samba Setup Help Needed !

2012-11-12 Thread Devinder Singh

Hi,

I would like to implement the Microsoft Native Outlook Integration.

However, I am facing issue with the Samba setup. After installing the
samba4 and performing all the operations, below are some findings.

1. Authentication does not happen via Samba4.
2. Installed Webmin module of SOGo and found Configuration file of
Samba referred is at /etc/samba/smb.conf whereas it should be
/etc/samba4/smb.conf

What needs to be done further so that Samba4 server and Webmin takes
into account new smb.conf and not the old one?

Kindly suggest.

Re: [SOGo] SOGoUsersSource Configuration Help

2012-10-31 Thread Devinder Singh

Thanks Christain for confirming this is possible.

My major agenda is to avoid unnecessary user setup on Samba who do not
wish to use MS Outlook. For them Mysql authentication can work.

Whereas the ones using the Microsoft Outlook can be by privilege setup
up on Samba.

However, Right now I find that different SOGoUSersSource can be set only
for different domains and not for different mediums.

Kindly suggest how can I differentiate the Webbased login and the MS
Outlook with different SOGoUserSource configuration ?

Which parameter in the .GNUDefaults can decide which portal to be accessed ?

Kindly guide.

Thanks Regards,
Devinder Singh Birdi

Pay attention that even if you have the same user details in 2 different
sources, they will behave like two different SOGo users.

That is definitely wrong.
As long as they have the same user ID they are the same users within SOGo.

If you depend on Samba, then make sure that you have Samba available all
the time. Proposed SOGo config is not a way to go to solve possible
Samba unavailability.

3.MS Outlook authenticates with Samba. Also for some users can

You need one SOGoUsersSource for webfrontend and XxxxDAV and Z-Push
(which uses XxxxDAV) with MySQL configuration.

AFAIK Funambol connector copies the user on first use from SOGo into its
own database (not sure here, we don't use it). There is no difference
for Outlook with Funambol client and other devices with Funambol client.

Outlook with native access will always use SAMBA, and nothing else.

Reason : Since we are already installing Funambol for Blackberry
devices, its better to manage Funambol alone than Samba, openchange,
Ocsmanager.

By cons with Funambol, you can not synchronize multiple accounts, it
seems.

Hi,

Your welcome.
The funny Thing is, that i did excatly thought the Same. Sadly TB does
not work with cal nor adress even with the sogo-connector carddrav
Plugin at the Moment. I tested this 2 weeks ago with lion Server. And
i guess this is the same with Mountain Lion Server.

But the Good thing is, that there are clients that suppose to work
with *Lion Server (google for emclient for example).

I think the easiest way is to setup a CardDav server, we have Lion
Server i'm in the process of doin that now. Thanks, for your help, I
really appreciate it.

Hi Kat,

so basicly you want to have carddrav Server ?!
You probably know that there are others
(http://carddav.calconnect.org/implementations/servers.html).

But in fact Sogo can do this. The easiest Way is to have One
ressource-User that adressbook everyone can use.

If you setup a centos Server with working LDAP And sogo (without
Exchange functionality) that should do the trick - i guess.

Hoping that helps.

Re: [SOGo] Mobile Sync with Z-Push Activsync Successful

2012-10-18 Thread Devinder Singh

Hi Peter,

My objective is to have all Mobile devices sync with SOGo.

Z-push is a good replacement for Funambol due to its native
compatibility with Andriod and Apple IOS with version 6.

However, Z-push do not support Blackberry Devices and so we require
Funambol.

I am working on making it work for me :). But you can say it got Z-sync
topic got hijacked by Funambol.

By the way, Funambol setup is complete and looking forward to test with
Blackberry tomorrow.

[SOGo] Mysql and Samba Authentication for same domain users

2012-10-05 Thread Devinder Singh

Hi,

Can I integrate Authentication by Mysql and Samba for same domain users?
Mysql can authenticate users that do not need Outlook Native
Compatibility and Samba setup can be made for the ones who requires ?
By this bifurcation I can manage to have less load on non-required
resources for outlook compatibility.

I assume - For Outlook Native Compatibility, Samba authentication is
mandatory. Kindly correct me if wrong.

Let me know your thoughts.

Yes, you can create different SOGoUserSources.
Each one specifies if it uses LDAP/AD or database as authentication
source for SOGo.

Openchange+SAMBA can be used with both too, but they need their own
credentials, which you have to keep in synch by yourself.
AFAIK that is so, because SAMBA4 does currently not support shared trust
with an AD.

I have similar query for myself too.

LDAP just like Microsoft Active Directory.

No, LDAP is not neccessary.

This statement from the help document only means, that you can use SAMBA
instead of an LDAP/AD for authentication with SOGo too.

However, The issue seems to be for the below problem. Kindly note
the sitepackage libraries for python 2.6 version whereas 2.7 is the
one installed.

Command : rpm -ql samba4 | grep samba/__init__.py
Result:

Also PYTHONPATH is null. Kindly guide what is the proper value to be
set, since found different variations when googled.

Hmm, looks like python doesn't find the samba module for some reason.
Can you show the output of 'rpm -ql samba4 | grep samba/__init__.py' ?
What is the content the for PYTHONPATH env variable?

Could you run the following commands and send the full output?
  which python; python -V; echo -e 'import sys\nprint sys.path' | python

Thanks.

Can you try removing samba4-libs? (and reinstalling samba4)

I just tested again on el6 and it works fine here, so there might be
an issue/conflict with the packages installed on your machine.
