What we do in this case is to rename the file and adjust the updates.php
to use, e.g. 17.0.4a for the new version.

Unfortunately, it appears that the setting in Thunderbird does not get
written back to webmail. So, for users with a connected smartphone,
they will still get reminders for other user's calendars until they also
change the setting in the web interface.

ps: it's probably due to some incompatibilities of SOGo with Dovecot.
I have a script that does this exact thing. I wonder if there was
anything special about your dovecot config.
