[SOGo] DB Backend

We are a MySQL shop but installed PostgreSQL for SOGo based on the recommendation listed in the SOGo Install Guide. Is their a reason one DB backend is recommended over the other for SOGo? We are considering moving SOGo to our clustered MySQL environment, but would like more information about

We have been running in production mode for at least 2 - 3 weeks now with no configuration changes to the server. This morning I noticed sluggish responses times from SOGo and found one of the 8 alloted SOGo processes pegged at 100% CPU. Checked the logs and noticed the following [ERROR]'s :

We have setup a generic user account (pubcal) which will be used to create / maintain several public calendars. The person maintaining the account was inquiring if it was possible to have a single event span multiple calendars instead of having to create the event on each calendar. -- O
