[SOGo] Outlook invitations cannot be sent with sogo 2.0.7

2013-08-11 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello,

I have sogo 2.0.7 with postfix/cyrus as backend. I am connected using Outlook
2013. Whenever I try to send an invitation the mail does not arrive. However
Outlook does not display any error message. The mail is in the sender's Sent
Folder, but does note include the invitation. Instead the email body starts
like this: ), followed by the actual content of my email. I cannot find any
entries in the mail log that postfix would deal with the message at all.
Probably the headers get messed up. All other mails, with or without
attachments, work. I also tried using Outlook 2007 which seems to be officially
supported, same result. No email containing an invitation is going through.

Is this a problem with OpenChange/Sogo backend or do I have to alter my
postfix/cyrus configuration? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Christoph Schröder--

[SOGo] Umlauts in openchange

2012-05-10 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello,

when using sogo v2 which I compiled from source on ubuntu 11.10 with openchange
I can send emails very well through both the web interface and Outlook. However
when I try to view an email in Outlook containing German umlauts they are not
shown correctly.

As the web interface does not show this behaviour I would assume that it is a
problem in samba or openchange. Additionally, one cannot set a password
containing German special characters in samba.

Does anyone have a way that umlauts are presented correctly in Outlook 2010 or
is someone still working on this issue.

An answer is very much appreciated, same goes for all your effort in developing
this!

Kind regards,

Hello,

had the same Problem. Here is how to fix it:

Specify '../python' as pythonpath, so that python is in
~/openchange/sogo/python.

Hope that helps.

thanks for your response, but unfortunately it doesn't work as supposed. I have
run 'export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/samba/lib/ldb' and then

I will porbably wait until later today.

Got it working by changing /etc/ld.so.conf.d/samba4.conf.

[SOGo] NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME

2011-10-26 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello,

when I try to connect to SOGo/Openchange with outlook I get the following
error: NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME in the samba log. Also, outlook tells me that
he cannot establish a connection with the exchange server.
My samba machine has a working DNS server (bind9) and I have included the samba
named.conf file. Also the hosts file is set properly.

Is there any clue on this?

Okay,

this actually wasn't the real problem here!

But I still cannot access OpenChange. If I telnet the server on port 135 I also
don't get an answer. On Linux he says Connection refused.

Any help is very much appreciated.

could it be possible that someone who has successfully changed the openchange

Re: Re: [SOGo] Cannot access exchange server from outlook

2011-10-15 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello and thank you all for your effort,

Unfortunately I have tried all your points. I have a correct bind dns server on
the samba machine, have included the samba file, have the dns server set
properly on the client running outlook, have added the right entries into the
host file - but still no success.

One point that was interesting for me is that you set samba as domain
controller in the provision script. Could there be a conflict with my Windows
Server running Active Directory?

Re: Re: Re: [SOGo] Cannot access exchange server from outlook

2011-10-14 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello and thanks again,

unfortunately I am still not able to get it working. Firewall shouldn't be a
problem, I have checked that.
nslookup for openchange.x.x gives me the following output (of course the x is
my domain):
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.2.205

Name:openchange.wat.intra
Address: 192.168.2.205

That seems to be quite normal.

Any ideas are very much appreciated.

UIDFieldName = sAMAccountName;
baseDN = dc=x,dc=x;
bindDN = cn=binder,dc=x,dc=x;

bindPassword = x;

Re: Re: [SOGo] [openchange] install on debian squeeze 64-bit

2011-10-12 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello,

I've had the same problem. I have solved it by manually giving him the
Pythonpath. For Openchange you need to take the one where the openchange folder
is inside of site-packages. In my case on ubuntu this was
/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages, in this folder you can find a folder
called openchange. I don't know whether it's the same folder for you.

Respectively, the command would be:
sudo PYTHONPATH='/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages' ./openchange_newuser
--create x

Hope this helps.

[SOGo] Cannot access exchange server from outlook

2011-10-12 Thread christophschroedercs
Hello,

I have finally set up and compiled the sogo v2 beta and have set the realm and
domain to my local domain, not Openchange.local.

If I set it to default openchange.local everything will work fine but if I set

up the account.

How can I correctly set openchange and samba up so that I can use my own
domain?
