Re: [SOGo] emClient?
I have installed SOGO connector and SOGO integrator frontend plugins. I am currently using Thunderbird 17.0.5 32 BIT and Lightening version 1.9.1. However when i am adding invitee, lightening is not sending any free/busy information request to server at all. What else can be wrong. Is it a bug in Lightening? HelloSogo-integrator and connector are free and opensource. Be carreful you have to customize the Sogo-integrator to reflect your configuration. (see the documentation it is well doccumented)Sogo-integrator brings some nice functionnalities in ligntning :-the ability to admin the calenar and contacts folders ACL-creation, deletion , subscrition to calendars and the color synchronization. We are curently evaluate Sogo to migrate our customers on it and for now we are very impressedby the product.RegardsLe Mercredi 19 Juin 2013 08:48 CEST, Gurvinder Dadyala gsd2...@gmail.com a crit:Is there a need to install integrated plugin with so go connector. Re: [SOGo] emClient?
Freebusy worked out of the box for me with emClient. I'm not sure how frankly, as I only entered the *dav address of https://server/SOGo/dav/username/ and it found the calendar, addressbooks and the ldap addressbook and got freebusy info (Including tentative busy , which lightning does not distinguish). Re: [SOGo] emClient?
After seeing these em client posts I thought I'd give it a try. I'm rapidly loosing love for Thunderbird and so I was pretty eager to try something new. So far eM is working very well and it was very easy to setup and configure my SOGo user account with calendars, contacts, tasks, etc. I haven't tested everything yet but it looks pretty nice. They even have some built in features already to handle Access Control for all folders and on folders that I've shared via the SOGo web interface I can see the ACL settings for those users, etc. But I can't seem to add users from the eM client itself even though it has an option for that. I'm not sure how it handles setting rules but I've wrote them an email asking. If there was a way to get that part to work I'd say eM would make a really fantastic Windows client option. Re: [SOGo] emClient?
I tried emClient once and also liked it. But you have to be careful to not mix with other programs and the webinterface. EmClient has a lot more fields for contacts than TB and sogo stores those but if you open those contacts with other clients and save them you loose those fields.
