Re: [SOGo] SOGo login page

2024-02-26 Thread Christian Mack

Hello Stefan

That is (or was some years ago) intentional.
Because of that bots have a harder time to abuse the login screen.
Not, that this is a silver bullet.

If you still think this should be changed, open a feature request bug at
https://sogo.nu/bugs/

Hello,

on the SOGo login page there are two fields:

If I take a look into the source code I see a id for the password field

I think that's bad because automatic fill in with e.g. Remote Desktop
Manager doesn't work correct with the username, but with the password.
The automatic field detection find only the password with the id, but
not the username.

2018-10-24 Thread Michael Hekeler
Hi,

because your user is able to login into the sogo server, I would assume that
your problem is that your webserver is not cofigured correctly and sends
wrong/insufficient headers.
Please check.
Do you have an apache server proxying? nginx?

[SOGo] SOGo Login problem

2018-10-23 Thread Andrew Farmer

Hi,

I am trying to migrate to a new SOGo server and have it mostly working.
I'm able to access my calendar from Lightning/Thunderbird but I can't
login to the web GUI. The login screen accepts my login ID and password
but, without giving any error, it simply goes back to the login page.

Looking at the logs,  I seem to be getting logged in OK and then some
session info is written to the PGSQL database. However, I then see the
following in the logfile:
Oct 23 17:32:14 sogod [7321]: |SOGo| starting method 'GET' on uri
'/SOGo/so/arf'

Oct 23 17:32:14 sogod [7321]: |SOGo| traverse(acquire): arf
Oct 23 17:32:14 sogod [7321]: |SOGo|   do traverse name: 'arf'
Oct 23 17:32:14 sogod [7321]: |SOGo|   traverse miss: name=arf, acquire:
i=0,count=1

Oct 23 17:32:14 sogod [7321]: |SOGo| miss is last object.
Oct 23 17:32:14 sogod [7321]: |SOGo| handle miss error:
 NAME:SoAuthRequired
REASON:authentication required

Does this mean anything to anyone? Any idea where I can start to look at
what's going on?

Thanks very much (full logs below),

[SOGo] sogo login

2015-03-12 Thread Tobias Lindinger
Hi,

I installed sogo on raspberrypi using raspian/jessie and the precompiled sogo
packages of debian. Installation was not a problem at all, cyrus and postfix
are running as expected. As authentication source I configured a mysql
database.

When ever I try to login via the webinterface I get the error
An unhandled error occurred.

[SOGo] sogo login takes way too long after update - may be somthing different is wrong, but ... sogo 2.2.10

2014-12-04 Thread Götz Reinicke - IT Koordinator
Hi,

recnetly i updatete our sogo from 2.2.9 to the most recent 2.2.10.

I noticed some warnings No child available to handle incoming request
so I increased the PREFORK to 20 in /etc/sysconfig/sogo

Today some users tell me, that sogo is gone slow since we did the
update, and true: Logining in takes op to 10 seconds, average is 5 and
it was close to 1.

From cpu load, memory etc I dont see any bottleneck, the same on the
mysql or mail server.

They run quit smooth.

dmesg shows some segfault of the sogod, but not on a regular base

Any idea what I might check? Regards . Götz

[SOGo] Sogo login

2013-06-26 Thread Carsten Laun-De Lellis

Hi All

@Ludovic: After a fresh install I can connect to OpenChange/Sogo with
Outlook (and for me Outlook 2013 works).

But now I have problems to log on into SOGo.

I found the following entry in the sogo.log file

Jun 26 15:36:24 sogod [11519]: 0x0x7f871e447940[LDAPSource]
NSException: 0x7f871e4b2820 NAME:LDAPException REASON:operation bind

Jun 26 15:36:24 sogod [11519]: SOGoRootPage Login from '153.100.131.12'
for user 'user' might not have worked - password policy: 65535 grace: -1

HTTP/1.1 403 34/49 0.052 - - 2M

I don't know what that exactly means and therefor what to do now.

My GnuStep config is pretty simple at the Moment, because I am building
the System step by step and don't have Setup postfix and dovecot now. So
my GNUstep user config looks like follows.

Re: [SOGo] sogo login issue.

2013-05-08 Thread Philipp v. Strobl-Albeg

Hi,

two questions:
1. Don't you need a password for bind to ldap ? (one should know, that
dovecot only needs login to ldap to check if mail-address is known.
After that it makes a self-bind with login-credentials (so cn=admin
don't need to see the password of users)

2. Did you try connect/search via ldapsearch ?
something like: ldapsearch -x -D cn=admin,dc=example,dc=org -b
dc=mail,dc=example,dc=org -W ((objectClass=posixAccount)(uid=%u))

Hope this could help finding the problem and is not only bla-bla ;-)

Hi,

so there is a problem with LDAP.

Try slapcat an search for the same info, you are looking for with the
ldapsearch. Is it really there ?

Try ldapearch with other filter (at the end) (objectClass=*).

Perghaps you didn't use posixAccount objectclass or your DN ist with
mail= instead of uid=.

Try ldapearch with other filter (at the end) (objectClass=*).

Also the following in your previous post catched my eye:

Do you really try to access /SOGo/sogo ?
You should only access /SOGo there.
This URL path is case sensitive, so don't use /sogo !!

[SOGo] SOGO login - imap or sql

2013-04-04 Thread Karol Pomaski
Hey.

I have recently insalled SOGO. I would like to while loging into SOGO to
make it check the login/password by IMAP. Is it possible? (using Dovecot
1.2 and Postfix)

If not, I have all the users/password stored in mysql database, however the
password fiel is encrypted with salt. How should I change
the SOGoUserSources to correctly use it? How can I specify which field
should be used for login and which for the password?

Regards,
Karol
