if the event doesn't have a reminder - you won't get one... have you tried

[SOGo] Event with external attendees not shown in web UI

2016-09-19 Thread Sten Anderson

Sogo 3.1.5 on Debian Jessie.

When I create an event is SOGo Web UI which has an attendee that is not
in the LDAP address book, the event disappears after creation. Invite
mails are sent out and I can see the event with Thunderbird, but web ui
does not show it. Even after logout/login.

Yes, that is normal, as calendar categories are managed in Lightning,
which does know nothing about SOGo.
But remote Adressbooks are managed via SOGo Connector Add-On, which was
created specifically for SOGo, therefore knowing how to get those
categories.

So, is it possible, with some coding/enhancement to SOGo Integrator that

Yes there's a javascript API which would let SOGo integrator obtain the
calendar categories of calendar events.

See the code in this add-on, the Provider for Google Calendar, allows
bidirectional sync of google calendar events with thunderbird lightning
calendar:

If I create an event in Outlook (using EAS) it doesn't sync to SOGo however if I

interface being synced through EAS to Outlook but I see no such log entry for

[SOGo] Event in invited meeting room's calendar sometime created without organizer

2013-11-14 Thread Покотиленко Костик
Hi,

I've noticed that sometimes events that users create in their personal
calendars and that's having meeting room invited are being saved to
meeting room's calendar without ORGANIZER field. There are 2 side
effects when that happens:
- the organizer of such event in shared meeting room's calendar appears
to be meeting room user
- it is possible to book this meeting room for time occupied by such
event

I am unable to reproduce this behavior on my account, but this is
causing some mess. Sogo 2.0.7

What could be the reason?

[SOGo] event types in thunderbird | public, private confidential

Hi all,

The three available event categories are called public, private and
confidential. However, in thunderbird (with

Is this normal and expected? The web access calls it confidential, as

Yes - it's normal. Back when we were modifying Lightning and
distributing the Inverse Edition, we modified it to also use
confidential. Now that we don't, it's back with show time and date only.

SOGo makes uses of what's defined in the RFC for access classification.
I don't know why Mozilla/Lightning chose to do things differently and

Re: [SOGo] Event discrepancies between phone and Thunderbird/server

My guess from looking at 3.3.10 of RFC 5545 is that both should work,

the second case should expand the event to all the listed days.

So your Phone does it wrong.
What do you expect Funambol, Funambol Sogo Connector or SOGo to do?

 2. If I create an event with my phone that starts and ends at the same

shows it while the server does not show it at all. However, if I
make it daily then the server does show it. I can even create the

 3. Creating a tagged event via my phone with the preface of the event

time is incorrect. I am not sure if the tag or description make a
difference or not. Testing different permutations via the phone is
tedious. I tested some more anyway. The tag and weekly M-F

[SOGo] Event not appear automatically in thunderbird

2012-03-13 Thread pereira.david37
Hi,

After the update of the version 1.3.4 to 1.3.12 of SOGO, I have a problem with
Thunderbird and lightning. Indeed, when I add an event in the calendar, the
event does not appear automatically and I need to force the update manually to
display the event in the calendar.

Versions tbird 3.1.12 and 3.1.17 tbird
xpi: lightning 1.0b2.109i, Sogo connector and integrator 3.1.09.

Any ideas are welcome. Thank you in advance

[SOGo] event invitation recipient limit

2011-07-18 Thread Stephen Ingram
Is there a limit to the number of recipients in an invitation to an
event? I'm suspecting that is the reason for this error:

I counted over 150 invitees for the event. I'm not sure why anyone
would even send such an invitation, but was curious nonetheless.

Thanks for the very fast answer!

I dont know if I should file a bug-report into the bug-tracker since you
are already aware of the problem?

May I ask if there is any chance to get this fixed in the next release,
I missed already two meetings (was 1 hour late ;-))

Thanks!

All works very well, but strangely some events appear to have some
timezone-problems: They are shifted by one hour.

For example: In Thunderbird lightning (Inverse Edition 1.0b2+104i)
the event is correctly shown to start at 13:00 (1pm), but in the
sogo-webview the same event is shown to start at 14:00 (2 pm). I´ve
attached a screenshot.

The event was an invitation send from outlook (mac) and was accepted
in the web interface from sogo. Part of the invitation:

DTSTART;TZID=W. Europe Standard Time:20110311T13
DTEND;TZID=W. Europe Standard Time:20110311T14

There is currently a parsing bug for TZID that contains a space
character - like the one you pasted above.

[SOGo] SOGo Event Conflicts Pop-ups

2010-11-16 Thread Mohit Chawla
Hi,

Today one of our users reported that event conflicts had stopped working.
Honestly, I didn't actually *know* that there was such a provision available
in SOGo. So, what I gather from the screenshots sent to me when event
conflicts were working, it seems pop-ups will show up warning the user that
the time slot is already taken, when there's conflict between time slots for
a resource etc. Does anyone know more about this feature ? :)

Thanks very much Ludovic for explanation, is it possibile to visualize who
create it?
- I create a new event on my collegue's calendar
- I put him as has attendee (like secretary)

Then I want that he (and other collegues) visualize on his calendar that I have
create it.
And i want that a notification are sent to attendee, owner's calendar too.
Now it's not sent, i'm wrong? If i add other collegues into attendees group, the have received
notification and they visualize SENT-BY attribute into e-mail

I'm not sure that i'm clear :-)
