Anyone using SOGo and iPhones, are y'all seeing that if you are
subscribed to other calendars and they have alarms, then you get the
notification on the iphone, even if the Show Alarms box isn't checked?

Yes - This has been the case for some time. Why does apple not provide a
disable alarm option on the calendars like any other calendar
application does! (iCal included..)
I'm currently awaiting confirmation about sponsoring inverse fixing this
