Hello,

actually, do I have to be in the samba domain?

Kind regards,

Hello,

could it be possible that someone who has successfully changed the openchange
domain post how he has achieved it. That would make it easier for me to see
mistakes or gaps. Has at least someone done this?

Any effort is very much appreciated.

Hello and thanks again,

unfortunately I am still not able to get it working. Firewall shouldn't be a
problem, I have checked that.
nslookup for openchange.x.x gives me the following output (of course the x is
my domain):
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.2.205

Name:openchange.wat.intra
Address: 192.168.2.205

That seems to be quite normal.

Any ideas are very much appreciated.

nslookup should be like that:
C:\Users\administratornslookup tuepdc
Server: linux.local
Address: 192.168.135.252

Name:tuepdc.local
Address: 192.168.135.143

Your standard server is empty. Your standard server should be samba4/dns.
Did you point on your clienet network settings to yoursamba4dns?
what gives nslookup your.domain? This should also point to your server
Another item, time should be the same on server and client.
Is the firewall on your linux box blocking the port?

Hello,

it seems that I have several complex issues here and I think I will have to
start from scratch to get it working or maybe wait until proper packages are
available.

Thank you for your effort anyways.
