tomcat session timeout with clustering

We just enabled clustering for our 3 tomcat servers, and now the sessions 
aren’t expiring. The TTL is negative and the inactive time is very high. We 
have this set as the default of 30 minutes.
We are using Tomcat 7.0.51.
Any ideas?
