Hello!

I have noticed that Tomcat installation does not include the
msvcr71.dll, there are merge modules for this from Microsoft.
I also did install Tomcat in native mode, maybe that have something to
do with it?

Problem appears first when you try to Start tomcat service, it will not
start and logfile return
[2007-10-22 11:51:34] [986 prunsrv.c] [error] Failed creating java
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\bin\client\jvm.dll
[2007-10-22 11:51:34] [1260 prunsrv.c] [error] ServiceStart returned 1
[2007-10-22 11:51:34] [info] Run service finished.
[2007-10-22 11:51:34] [info] Procrun finished.

Anyway: According to Microsoft this is an application specific DLL
nowadays: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326922

If you have visual studio 2005 installed on you machine you find the
correct module in folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\

Is this something that tomcat development team can correct?
It has been there at least from version 5.5.23 ->
And It would be great for us tomcat users to get an working installation
package when setting up new servers.
