Re: Is there a problem with the digest?
I just contacted my email provider and sent them your last message (raw) as an attachment so they can try and see why I'm still not receiving any emails from the listserve. Hopefully they can pinpoint the problem as I'm getting nothing. (pardons for attaching the email in raw form, but this is what I've sent to email tech support to try and diagnose the issue). -R From users-return-267389-apmail-tomcat-users-archive=tomcat.apache@tomcat.apache.org Thu Apr 18 11:12:42 2019 Return-Path: X-Original-To: apmail-tomcat-users-arch...@www.apache.org Delivered-To: apmail-tomcat-users-arch...@www.apache.org Received: from mail.apache.org (hermes.apache.org [207.244.88.153]) by minotaur.apache.org (Postfix) with SMTP id 421F018D78 for ; Thu, 18 Apr 2019 11:12:42 + (UTC) Received: (qmail 62601 invoked by uid 500); 18 Apr 2019 11:12:25 - Delivered-To: apmail-tomcat-users-arch...@tomcat.apache.org Received: (qmail 62547 invoked by uid 500); 18 Apr 2019 11:12:25 - Mailing-List: contact users-h...@tomcat.apache.org; run by ezmlm Precedence: bulk List-Help: <mailto:users-h...@tomcat.apache.org> List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org> List-Post: <mailto:users@tomcat.apache.org> List-Id: Reply-To: "Tomcat Users List" Delivered-To: mailing list users@tomcat.apache.org Received: (qmail 62537 invoked by uid 99); 18 Apr 2019 11:12:25 - Received: from Unknown (HELO mailrelay1-lw-us.apache.org) (10.10.3.159) by apache.org (qpsmtpd/0.29) with ESMTP; Thu, 18 Apr 2019 11:12:25 + Received: from [192.168.23.12] (host217-44-157-0.range217-44.btcentralplus.com [217.44.157.0]) by mailrelay1-lw-us.apache.org (ASF Mail Server at mailrelay1-lw-us.apache.org) with ESMTPSA id 59E274447 for ; Thu, 18 Apr 2019 11:12:24 + (UTC) Subject: Re: Is there a problem with the digest? Nothing changed since before your server crashed to after, and I've checked all junk and spam filters. I am still not receiving any of the digests anymore. Are the digests even being sent out? Why google? Actually I was continuing to research the problem I'd posted, and the digest archive showed up as the first two hits. :-) -R On 4/12/2019 7:34 AM, Konstantin Kolinko wrote: пт, 12 апр. 2019 г. в 17:27, Richard Huntrods : It's been four days since I've seen a 'users-dig...@tomcat.apache.org' email. Talk to your mail server admins. The ASF suffered a hardware failure of our main mail server ~4 days ago and, as a result, stood up a new server in a different data centre. The ASF mail server sends out a LOT of email. Some mail servers appear to be configured to assume large volumes of email from a server they have never seen before must be spam and are therefore rejecting all ASF mail. Of course, the chances are that you will never receive this email either. Sigh. I'll forward it to you from a different address. Is there a problem with the digest?
It's been four days since I've seen a 'users-dig...@tomcat.apache.org' email. I posted a question on April 9, and no digest since (I subscribed to the digest), yet I found a reply on the digest archive by searching with Google. So again... is there a problem with digest emails? I have no spam filters enabled and there's nothing in a junk or trash folder.
