We have to use SAML2 in wicket as well, but there are absolutely no
libraries for java available. Let alone proper documentation... It seems
this is a wheel to be invented...

Typically, one should have an IDP or SP setup at either ends. For instance,
Shibboleth has good support for SAML2. Once you have that setup, you can use
