Question about usage of PageMap

2010-06-04 Thread Swanthe Lindgren

Hello all.
I our application we have a lot of search and maintenance pages for
different type of entities. On each of these pages we put an Add
button, which takes the user to a wizard to add a new entity of that
type. In the wizard, we want to be able to send the user back to where
it came from if the Cancel button is pressed.

Questions:
Is there a simple way to know how the user entered the wizard?
Is this where the PageMap comes in, or is there any other way to track
the users path in the application?

I believe that passing the page where user click Add as parameter to the
wizard is an simple solution to has an reference to set on the cancel
response.
