Hi Everyone,
I have installed xwiki in my laptop. I want to know if I can index the
documents without uploading it into the xwiki. Say I have 20 Gb of
documents in my local hard disk. can I search these documents without
uploading it into xwiki?

XWiki only index what it can find in the wiki pages so unless you
upload thoses document to your wiki you won't find them using XWiki
search.
Now you depending on your system I'm sure you have better solution
than XWiki to search in your local files.

Thank you for your suggestion!
I have chosen the simplest one, create a separated page. I suppose that this
solution is more easy to administrate the control access and maintain the
refreshed information about the serves, we are constantly changing our
application server information.
tks
The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki 5.0.3.
This is a bugfix release. The blocking bugs that leaded to this
release are a regression with right checking in old API and the New
Page menu not showing up or user without admin right.
You can download it here:
Is there any way to get in contact with Raluca Stavro?
Or can she visit/join this thread to take a look at the problems we are
facing?
