As a shortcut you could include the whole URL in the link...

[Config Center > http://yourhost/xwiki/bin/admin/XWiki/XWikiPreferences]

The problem of the Space.Doc syntax is that you are looking for a /admin 
more than for a /view action. I don't know if it is possible to reach 
this /admin things with this syntax.
