Re: [xwiki-users] Comment Moderation , Right approach
Update 1: For the time being on click of approve link i am redirecting to the object editor where a moderator can change isApproved Property to true and save. Though it is a workaround ,this is not user friendly . Probably a panel showing all un-moderated comment and with a trigger to approve or reject may be the correct way. -- View this message in context: http://xwiki.475771.n2.nabble.com/Comment-Moderation-Right-approach-tp6195006p6195131.html Sent from the XWiki- Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ users mailing list users@xwiki.org http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/users

You can use: #set($commentIndex = 0) a href=$doc.getURL('save', XWiki.XWikiComments_${commentIndex}_isApproved=1xredirect=$request.requestURL)Approve/a If JavaScript is enabled you can prevent the link from triggering and send and AJAX request instead to the same URL, displaying a loading animation while the request is processed. Re: [xwiki-users] Drop mailing lists in favor of a forum software
[snip] Well, stackoverflow.com is one global site for all questions, it's not a tool you can install or host. It's part of stackexchange which is list of QA sites. FYI, I've contacted the guys just to check what is the process to get such a site and here's their answer: All of our sites are created through a process we call Area 51. It is the staging area to propose Stack Exchange sites to the community and, if it gains enough support, we create the site. Stack Exchange sites can only be created via the democratic, community-driven process at Area 51. You can read more about that process here: http://area51.stackexchange.com/faq. Thanks -Vincent Vincent et all, did you notice at Area 51 there is a wiki QA site proposal in commitment phase ? I thought it won't hurt to commit over there although there a quite some votes missing for that site getting created ... Might be a bit too general though ... http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/13716/wikis-and-wikipedia bye Andreas ___ users mailing list users@xwiki.org http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/users
[xwiki-users] I have deleted the xwiki space...
Hi xwiki users, I am a bit worried I have messing up all the things with my xwiki.. I deleted the xWiki space by mistake (by using the velocity macro to delete spaces) and I am not able now to log as admin any more neither to install the Administration Application (if it is the needed action to do..). Could you please help me? I didn't found any specific information about it online. Do I need to install again the xwiki?? Did I lose my work??? Thing is Admin used itself is in XWiki space as well as all users so now all that is left is guest virtual user. But at the same time you deleted all rights configuration which make guest user an admin so you should be able to reimport admin app. You should probably import XWiki space from XE (or XEM) xar instead because I think there is some things that are not in admin app in this space. If the script does not put document in the trash you lost all your users and groups otherwise you can restaore them by going to the http://yourhost/xwiki/bin/view/Main/AllDocs?view=deletedDocs page (once you imported XWiki space pages since I think this page include pages from XWiki space). [xwiki-users] RES: XE 2.7.1 Office Preview nor Macro NOT Working
Sergiu, The attachment is there, I've downloaded it without problems (i've tried both for doc and odf documents). Does the office preview work only with simple docs? The preview eye icon does not appear for any odt, odf, ppt as well. Are there any configs that I need to make on xwiki.cfg or xwiki.properties? Any plugin to activate? Hi, Is your office importer application working properly as described in http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/OfficeImporter ? I'm asking because the attachment preview also requires the same back-end (i.e. an OpenOffice server). - Asiri 2011/3/22 Ramon Gomes Brandão - SERINT ramon.bran...@tjdft.jus.br Sergiu, The attachment is there, I've downloaded it without problems (i've tried both for doc and odf documents). As Asiri suggested, you should try to import your doc in XWiki using Add Page from Office. Maybe you haven't configured the OpenOffice server properly or you haven't established the connection.
