I've been trying to install Xwiki on a Suse 10.2 linux
distribution with apache-tomcat-6.0.16 and MySQL
5.0.26 (the jdbc driver is
mysql-connector-java-5.0.8.jar).
With either Xwiki 1.2.2 or 1.3.rc1 i get a null
pointer exception when I get to the XWikiPreferences
