Re: [xwiki-users] Re : Re: Problem with fresh new 2.1.1 XEM install

2010-01-08 Thread Gaëtan GUYODO
Using IE 7.0 I get Erreur de script (script error) :
line: 2
character: 1
Error: syntax error
Code: 0
URL: https://mydomain/xwiki/wiki/testwiki/view/Main

That error appends 10 times before the page appears. After that, I can't
use any menu, when my mouse pass on any menu, I get the same error twice.

Is there any way to give you more information ? I don't know which
script, how can I get it ?

You could access the files through WebDAV, see

[xwiki-users] Removal of wiki from XEM

2010-01-08 Thread Dilipkumar Jadhav
Hello everyone,
Is it safe to remove a wiki from a wiki farm once information has been added
to it. Are there any additional steps that need to followed to make sure the
particular wiki is not referenced by the farm (in the app server, wiki or
the database).
Thank you for your time and consideration folks...

I don't know...I explain : with IE, I get error messages as described.

I have installed firebug and activated all errors in the console. When I
try https://mydomain/xwiki/wiki/testwiki/view/Main I get these 2 errors:

La feuille de style https://sid-sicap.aphp.fr/error.html n'a pas été
chargée car son type MIME, « text/html », n'est pas « text/css »
https://sid-sicap.aphp.fr/xwiki/wiki/testwiki/view/Main/
Line 0

XML tag name mismatch (expected meta)
https://sid-sicap.aphp.fr/error.html
Line 5

When mouse go over 'edit' menu or 'print' menu I get these errors:

showsubmenu is not defined

Line 1

hidesubmenu is not defined

Any idea ?

But when I try to access to that wiki from SSL URL, as before

 javascripts
errors (line 2, caracter 1, syntax error, code 0... many many times)
Is there any way to make it work ?
I tried to force xwiki.url.protocol=https in xwiki.cfg, without
 results.
I tried to create another wiki, same problem.
I tried to add the full URL as alias, doesn't work !
The alias is the domain name not the URL. See

Have you any idea of the requested configuration to make it work ?

 Hello everyone,
Is it safe to remove a wiki from a wiki farm once information has been added
to it. Are there any additional steps that need to followed to make sure the

Thank you for your time and consideration folks...

WikiManager UI is supposed to:
- remove wiki database (if it has right on the database engine to do so)
- remove wiki descriptor on the main wiki

Removing a wiki cause the following issues (at least the one i can think of):
- break all the links from others wikis that point to it (things like
[[deletedwiki;Space.Page]])
- break all the includes from others wikis that point to it (things
like {{include document=deletedwiki;Space.Page/}})

Except for theses i don't see any other particular issue (and its not
really critical issues).

I get the wikidoesnotexist page !

I watch source of the page, and there's a few links to :
/xwiki/...

but if I understand the use of wiki farm with URL path based wiki
access, every acces should come with URL like :
/xwiki/wiki/aliasname

so the page you want me to check should be:
/xwiki/wiki/testwiki/bin/skin/resources/js/xwiki/xwiki.js

That page seems to get better answer, I get a message Un problème est

No, this URL format is only for wiki pages. This is a skin resource,
which should not depend on the current wiki, so /xwiki/bin/skin/ should

Could you check that you do have a file in

 server : http://localhost:8080/xwiki/wiki/testwiki/view/Main) ! in
 this
 situation, everything works fine !
but when I use IE or Firefox (I tried both) with external secured
 URL, I
 get errors !
And do Firebug give you more detailed errors ?

So you mean javascript errors. Then it's not an URL issue since you
properly access the wiki it seems.

Is there any way to give you more information ? I don't know which
script, how can I get it ?
You should try with other browsers than IE (Firefox, Opera, etc.),
this will give us some more informations. In Firefox, install the
extension called Firebug that should give you some more detailed
 informations.

Migration from 1.8 to 2.1.1 had that problem. I thought that
could be the migration, so I tried with a fresh new install =

Actually when you enable URL patch based multiwiki it's mainly for

 /xwiki/bin/... URLs.

so the page you want me to check should be:

That page seems to get better answer, I get a message Un problème est

[xwiki-users] Problem with code makro in WYSIWYG Editor of XWiki 2.1.1

2010-01-08 Thread Florian Rhomberg
The new Version 2.1.1 ist working really quiet well!

But there is a small problem with sometimes bad consequences in the WYSIWYG
Editor when inserting the code makro.

If I insert a code makro and enter a language which is probably? not supported
(in my case it is xml) it can happen that I get an exception an the whole wiki
crashes. This may be a bug which can be as I already said, a big problem.

Greetings,
Florian

site so I used 2.0.10. And it worked (terminal and netbeans)! Thank you very

  Hi,

The platform/web/wysiwyg module depends on the platform/web/gwt module.
For some reason in your case the jars generated by the gwt module are
not available when building the wysiwyg module. Can you try to build the
gwt module manually first and then rebuild the entire web?

  Hope this helps,
  Marius

[xwiki-users] Migrate to Mysql

2010-01-08 Thread Aplamon

I have been using the standalone package (2.04) for some time and now our
wiki is starting to grow. So I wanted to migrate over to a Mysql database. I
have setup the default wiki in Mysql, that works. Now I want to move over
all the content. I thought I could just export a xar file and then import it
into my Mysql instance. But first off the xar file is only like 6megs big
and second when I try to import it the tool says there are no documents in
it.

Also, are attachment exported? We have a few rather large files as
attachments so 6 megs seems really small.

Thank you
Daniel
