[xwiki-users] Questionaire

2010-12-18 Thread Wouter de Vos
Hi everyone,

I'm working with Xwiki for a few months now, and I am really pleased
with all it has to offer, and enjoying the vivid community mailing as
well.

I want to put a questionaire in my wiki, lets say 10 questions with
open text fields for answers and as well some multiple choice
possibilities. Then I want a submit button that sends the whole thing
to an email address.
I am experimenting with importing html forms, which work OK-ish,
except for the mailto submit, which gives nasty popups from IE. I come
from a HTML background and im not that stable (yet) with groovy, php
and all that.
What is the best way to make my questionnaire? How do i make a decent
submit button?
If all this is old news, please send me links to previous posts, but i
looked for the last 3 hours and did not find anything on this subject
that i understood.
Thanks everyone for your help in advance,

Wouter

[xwiki-users] [request] Comparing XWiki to other solutions

2010-12-18 Thread Grégory GUENEAU
Hi everyone,

I'd like to compare XWiki to other solutions out there in order to better
understand where XWiki would need to be polished. I'd then propose to work on
listing these areas, proposing them on the list for future roadmaps and I'm
also willing to work on investigating these features, then i will start
discussion thread on them so that we reach a consensus on how we would view
these features developed in XWiki Enterprise.

If you know of them, could you please list solutions that I could compare XWiki
with, by providing URLs to them and explain why you think they could be
compared to XWiki. Note that the solutions you list can be either open source
or not.

Example:
Lotus Notes
http://www-01.ibm.com/software/lotus/products/notes/
Lotus notes has easy apps abilities close to XWiki abilities in term of App
creation within a page. On some RFP XWiki is a challenger of Lotus Notes.

Thank you.

It should be {{html clean="false"}} instead since maybe it introduces non XHTML
elements so we need to tell it not to clean the HTML to produce XHTML.

Thanks

[xwiki-users] Including a Google Map

2010-12-18 Thread Antonio Goncalves
Hi all,

I need to include a Google Map in a page. In XWiki 1.0 syntax I add a iframe
and that works fine (http://www.parisjug.org/xwiki/bin/view/Location/ISEP)
but with XWiki 2.0 syntax I can't make it work (
http://www.parisjug.org/xwiki/bin/view/Location/CIUP). I've added {{html
wiki="true"}} but it's the same problem.

How do I add a iFrame in a XWiki 2.0 page ? Is there an easier way to add a
Google Map (like a {{google map}} macro) ?

Thanks,
Antonio
