[xwiki-users] XWQL query on several objects of the same class instantiated in the same doc

2013-05-21 Thread Ricardo.Julio.Rodriguez.Fernandez
Hi!,

I'm really impressed, again, with the performance and easiness of XWQL. Even
though I'm using an old XWiki release, I'm able to follow almost all examples
provided at...

http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Query+Module

But I'm not able to figure out how to solve one problem: I would like to
retrieve documents (and read their properties) based on a combination of values
of comments objects. That is: I only want to retrieve a document when a
combination of values stored in comments happens.

I've tried this...

#set ($xwlquery1 = "from doc.object(XWiki.XWikiComments) as comm where
doc.translation = 0 and comm.comment like '%$doc.title%' and comm.comment not
like '%Withdrawal:2011%'")

But this query retrieve also, for instance, this document holding three
comments:

I'm not able to find a way of not to retrieve this document while all others
with comm.comment like '%$doc.title%'.

Please, could anybody help me with this issue?

Thank you so much for your help,

Ricardo

Re: [xwiki-users] [myxwiki] new wiki request

2013-05-21 Thread Kévin Laîné
Thank you very much !!

I just discover that CNAME config is only possible on a subdomaine as "www" for
exemple.
So the domain name will be "www.familleassociative.fr". Do you need to modify
something ?

For the DNS config, is this correct ?
www  IN CNAME familleassociative.myxwiki.org.

Thanks

Kévin

Hi Kevin,

Done:
http://familleassociative.myxwiki.org/

Which can also be accessed as http://familleassociative.fr once you've updated
your DNS records to add a CNAME to myxwiki.org

Enjoy!

It's a rule I personally don't agree with… It doesn't make anyone want to be a
RM which is bad IMO. It's already hard enough to find someone to do a release...

Anyway, thanks for volunteering :)

Thanks for all of your help. I was able to be successful by creating a new
3.5 instance with a mysql db. Doing an export/import and then upgrading to
the latest xwiki version.

Re: [xwiki-users] Error in inserting image (and creating link)

2013-05-21 Thread chrisward
Hi,

Is there an intended day this week for the new version? I only ask since i
am holding off getting a team to use our Wiki until I can install the one
with the fix.

Many thanks,
Chris

Re: [xwiki-users] how to write content in Container Macro

2013-05-21 Thread Belkhiria Hamza Yazid
Hi,

it actually works with text

but when i try to add some macros in the columns it does not work in all
cases

i tried the 'Include Macro' and the PDF viewer Macro

pdfviewer worked fine and went to second column as expected

when i add include Macro in the first column, the container macro effect
disappears

Thanks

There's a nice groovy syntax for this. You can use:

println """
{{html}}

…
"""

(See multiline string at http://groovy.codehaus.org/Strings+and+GString )

Thanks
-Vincent

PS: Also you don't need ";" at end of line ;)

What about also changing that text from:

"Not an inline macro"

to:

"This is a standalone macro and it cannot be used inline"

I find it slightly better.

This is not fully correct. It's valid for XWiki Syntax 2.0+ for not necessarily
true for other syntaxes….

Thus I'm proposing:

"This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to make
sure to use a syntax that separates your macro from the content before and
after it so that it's on a line by itself. For example in XWiki Syntax 2.0+
this means having 2 newline characters (a.k.a line breaks) separating your
macro from the content before and after it."

I just converted
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Large+XAR+Import
to xwiki/2.x syntax.

I did not heavily tested it so it's possible you get a groovy syntax
error (if you do it's probably a \ missing around the line indicated
in the error).

Actually maybe this is better:

"This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to have 2
newline characters (a.k.a line breaks) separating your macro from the content
before and after it."

WDYT?

Re: [xwiki-users] how to write content in Container Macro

2013-05-21 Thread Vincent Massol
Hi,

I've added this FAQ which I hope explains your issue:
http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/Why+do+I+get+a+%22Not+an+inline%22+macro+error

I'm also trying to improve the error message you got. Would the following text
have been more useful:
"This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to have 2
new lines separating your macro from the content before and after it."
?

Thanks
-Vincent
