Re: [xwiki-users] Xwiki RegisterAction

2015-05-26 Thread woleadetiba
Hi,

I am having same problem as above.

I am going the route of installing xwiki using the WAR file. I got this
working without any problems on Windows and MacOS. On Linux, CentOS, the
problem arose and I have tried the reinstallation many times.

Checking if the *oldcore" jar file is missing the *RegisterAction" class, I
tried:

 jar tvf xwiki-platform-legacy-oldcore-7.1-milestone-2.jar | grep
RegisterAction

which shows that the class is found.

How can this issue be resolved?

Thanks for your assistance.

Wole

You cannot, see http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/Spaces

Note that we’re planning to implement Nested Spaces in a hopefully close
future...

It probably means you’re missing the Main.Spaces page or that this pages has
been modified.

Navigate to the Dashboard page and edit in WYSIWYG mode or Wiki mode (by
default when you press edit you edit in Form (aka inline) mode.
See http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/PageEditing#HAdvancedMode

Re: [xwiki-users] User forgot password link unavailable

2015-05-26 Thread vinc...@massol.net
Hi Mahomed,

It’s really a feature :)

This is a “god" feature where you say that you don’t care about permissions on
pages and you override them by preventing guest user to view any page.

In your case that’s not what you want! You should use permissions instead to
achieve your goal.

Note that the ResetPassword page has a special page level permission to allow
guest users to view it.

Thanks
-Vincent
