Ah ok. For this there’s nothing to do normally..

You just need to use a link using "mailto:”.

For example: [[label>>mailto:someemail@domain]] with possibly some query string
for the mail content.

2016-05-19 Thread Joshua Spiva
This doesn't really work in the way I had mentioned below. What I was looking
for was a way to open a third party mailing app (Outlook) when sending. Similar
to the send function in IE for sending a page.
My users have a difficult time with copying and pasting.

Re: [xwiki-users] How to use the new SVG Rasterizing API

2016-05-19 Thread Miroslav Galajda
Hi, I have still some issues using this svg rasterizing API.

I'm trying to use rasterizeToTemporaryResource to use the returned url in
the img element in html macro, see my example bellow. But I cannot get this
to return working url. It returns in my xwiki instace
"/test-xwiki/wiki/xwiki/temp/Page1/WebHome/svg/858799895.png". I compared
it to old svg plugin using $xwiki.svg.getSVGImageURL, and that works and
returns the following working url:
"/test-xwiki/bin/svg/Test/Page1/WebHome/858799895.png". What's wrong?

{{velocity}}

#set($svgText = "http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"; xmlns=""http://www.w3.org/2000/svg";>

  Layer 2

  This is an SVG Drawing

")
#set($svgUrl = $services.svg.rasterizeToTemporaryResource($svgText, 640,
480))
$svgUrl

{{html}}

{{/html}}

{{/velocity}}

I am sorry.
The problem is that: our admin newly do use Apache/AJP protocol to visit tomcat

Yes, I had resovled the problem by change settings in tomcat in the last year.

But after I upgrade to 7.4.3, the problem appears again, it seems very strange.

[xwiki-users] How the page title of 'Administrator Page' to be decided?

2016-05-19 Thread KirbY ZhoU
For example, I have a page called “基础品质及小垂直团队”
The URL is ‘http://mysite/xwiki/bin/view/web_product/基础品质及小垂直团队/’
In the “Rename” Action, I can see both “Title” and “Page Name” is “基础品质及小垂直团队”

But, In the “Administrator Page”, its location shows: “EVA小组(评估、分析、垂直等)/
Preferences”,
and title is “Administration: web_product.基础品质及小垂直团队”
and URL is “…/xwiki/bin/admin/web_product/基础品质及小垂直团队/WebPreferences”

“EVA小组(评估、分析、垂直等)” is the old name of this page, I donot know why it is still
here.

2016-05-19 Thread KirbY ZhoU

Version: XWiki-7.4.3, Mac Safari 9.1.1, Firefox 38.7.1esr

A encoding bug of page administration page.

When I do administrator a Chinese title page, click any label  twice, the page
would jump to a invalid page.

For example:

At beginning:

You can see: there is no left panel.

First Click at “Rights: Page”

It seems OK, and left panel appears:

Second Click at “Rights: Page”

It jumps to a invalid page with invalid title.

The extension page had the wrong extension id (xwiki-platform-svg instead
of xwiki-platform-svg-rasterizer) and thus it wasn't listed in the
Extension Manager. I reimported the extension and now it's fine.

Note: just saw Marius’ message so I guess whoever contributed this extension
had forgotten to document that it can be installed with the Extension Manager…
:)

Thanks Marius for fixing it

Could you point to where you saw that because I don’t remember any announcement
saying that it was bundled with XWiki 8.0?

Refresh the page. You need to install the extension with the Extension
Manager.

[xwiki-users] How to use the new SVG Rasterizing API

2016-05-19 Thread Miroslav Galajda
Hi,

I noticed the anoucement of the new SVG rasterzing API in the XWiki 8.0
version.

Is it already available, or not? I have tried to use it in the velocity
macro, using the example usage at
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/SVG+Rasterizing+API,
but it seems that $services.svg is not available. Do I need to enable it or
it is an optional component that I need to install from somewhere.

Thank you
