[xwiki-users] strip accents from page name used in url

2016-07-11 Thread Miroslav Galajda
Hi, I’m using XWiki in Slovak language which uses accents, which consequently
causes problems with urls. The urls becomes ugly containing encoded characters
with accents. Does XWiki have integration point out of the box to replace the
page name with custom one, with stripped accents from it?

Thank you

[xwiki-users] Attachments display with versioning

2016-07-11 Thread Dan T
Hello,

We have a small problem with the attachements displayed on pages.

Let’s say we have a file named « test.xls » in attachement of a page. For
this file, we have made 3 modifications.

We can see « 1.1 », « 2.1 », « 3.1 » in the versioning tab and we can
download them without problem from that place.

But in the attachments tab, we have only the first release (with « 1.1 »
just next to it to confirm it).

Is it possible to show the last revision or version of a file in the
attachements ?

If it’s necessary, this is xwiki 8.0 and the attachments are stored in the
filesystem.

Thank you.

Yes the livetable macro uses the kind of URL I indicated.

[xwiki-users] [NOTICE] Tomcat versions that are not working anymore with XWiki

2016-07-11 Thread Vincent Massol
Hi everyone,

The Tomcat project has brought a change in the way they handle
RequestDispatcher (see https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=59317)
which is causing regressions. Thus for the moment you should **not** use the
following Tomcat versions:

• 9.0.x for 9.0.0.M5 onwards
• 8.5.x for 8.5.1 onwards
• 8.0.x for 8.0.34 onwards
• 7.0.x for 7.0.70 onwards

(See also http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-13556 for more details)

I’ve also added a warning on:
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/InstallationTomcat

Thanks
-Vincent
