Hi Marius,

I am using the windows installer (.exe).
The configuration that you mention is uncomment the job.statusFolder rght?
You can see the snapshot below:

The location of the permanent directory (where the job statuses that you
are supposed to delete are kept) depends on how you installed XWiki, and
you didn't mention anything about this. Did you use the Windows Installer?
Or did you use the Jetty+HSQLDB package? Or did you use the WAR package?

Moreover, the location of the permanent directory is configurable from the
xwiki.properties file (look for it).

Re: [xwiki-users] rerun distribution wizard

2016-12-19 Thread hamiazuhk26
I am having the same problem as I can't re-trigger my distribution wizard.
I had uninstall and re-install back the xwiki 8.4 version but still can't.

You are mention to move away the jobs/status/distribution subdirectory.
How to configured the directory and what is the things that i need to
configured? Is it uncomment?

Please advice.
Thanks

[xwiki-users] Markdown 8.3 Links to headings

2016-12-19 Thread Stefan Helmerichs
Hi Vincent,

thank you for the reply, and I see I forgot to mention the "little" fact
that we are supposed to keep using the markdown-syntax which works
in pandoc so we could theoretically create a nice and beautiful and
working pdf file from that markdown, so the [[..]] syntax is, sadly, not
so easy to use.

Not that there aren't any other options to do this, but well...

Will skim through the Jira, too, if anyone knows another solution to
this, I'd be happy ot hear it =)
If not, then maybe that will convince my superior to allow a conversion
tool for this kind of thing ^^

Thanks,
-Stefan

That is an absolute UNIX path. If you're asking this question then I
suppose you're using Windows, right?

Which notes? Can you give us a link? Maybe these notes have a section
dedicated to Windows.

Hope this helps,
Marius

2016-12-19 Thread Vincent Massol
Hi Stefan,

Try using the syntax [[...]]. I'm offline so can't check much. There are also
some open Jira issues that you could check that can explain some existing
limitations.

Thanks

[xwiki-users] markdown in xwiki8.4

2016-12-19 Thread Stefan Helmerichs
Thank you for that information, it did indeed help.
Without understanding the phrase "on farm", that info
did not help too much, though =)

So, if you want to, blame it on me for not being informed
on what "on farm" means =)
