Action : start
workflow.script.failed

The documentation is too light and probably something miss me.

If you tried this extension can you tell me if it is work on xwiki 5.3?

If yes, have you some documentation (or help) to use it?

Re: [xwiki-users] RES: need help to use workflow extension

2014-01-30 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Yes I created the workflow and 2 spaces (draft and publication).
Here what I 've done:

I create 2 spaces:
- draft
- publication
Add-Space-Space name and blank page  selected.

Space:Draft - Administer Draft-Panel Wizard and Drag and Drop Workflow
Panel at he right on my windows and Save New Layout

I'm going on the PublicationWorkflow space (PublicationWorkflow/WebHome)- Add a
Page:
- Publication Workflow Config Template selected - Space Name
- Space name PublicationWorkflow
- Page name: MyPrettyWorkflow

I fill the 3 groups with existants groups and chose Draft in
defaultDraftSpace-Saveview

Then I'm going on my Draft , I edite and save a new page MyPage
In my workflow panel:
Page de publication: MyPage
Espace de publication Publication
workflow: MyPrettyWorkflow
= I click on Initier le workflow
... and I obtain this error message:

workflow doc ref: workflow:Draft.MyPage
Action : start
workflow.script.failed

I checked if my email go out.

Thxs for your help.

Actually I am using in my XWiki 5.3.
Really the extension usability is not the best but it works! I even customized
it to company! In my workflow the published document go to a specific space and
get the draft page name...

Did you create the workflow?
Did you set the draft space?

How do you tried to use it?

We haven’t released a 5.3.1 and we probably won’t now that we’re finishing our
5.4 release (it should be released as final this week).

I’d suggest to upgrade to 5.4RC1 if you’re in a hurry or wait for the 5.4 this
week (5.4 will be very similar to the RC1). FTR Here’s the list of issues fixed
in 5.4 that are not in 5.4RC1:

[xwiki-users] Wrong regexp in sendmail function?

2014-03-04 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello

I think there are a wrong regexp in sendmail function in
templates/shareinline.vm (xwiki 5.4.1)

#if ($serverName.matches('\[.*\]|(\d{1,3}+\.){3}+\d{1,3}+'))
    #if ($!{xwiki.getXWikiPreference('admin_email')} != '')
  #set ($sender = $!{escapetool.q($sender)}
$!{xwiki.getXWikiPreference('admin_email')})
    #else
  #set ($sender = $!{escapetool.q($sender)} nore...@domain.net)
    #end
  #else
    #set ($sender = $!{escapetool.q($sender)} noreply@$!{serverName})
  #end

I filled admin_email and my my nameserver is iwiki.cp2i.i2 but i tried with
iwiki.cp2i.fr to.

I don't understand very well the regexp (writing a regexp is simpler to read
it) but when I send a mail with xwiki I felt in #set ($sender =
$!{escapetool.q($sender)} noreply@$!{serverName}) condition...

Hi all!

Our LDAP server also requires the client his certificate
(olcTLSVerifyClient = demand).
As we are in Java on client side, we have to use a Java keystore (jks)
containing the cert and the corresponding private key of the client

The way we found to give this info is in the Tomcat conf file
/etc/default/tomcat7 adding -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStore=/path-to-jks
-Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=changeit to JAVA_OPTS.
Do you know other ways?

Thank you for your answer. Claude Lepère

 Objet : [xwiki-users] XWiki and LDAP TLS binding

 Hi!

 Does XWiki support LDAP TLS binding (that means a ldap connection on port
 389 and not a SSL ldaps connection on port 686) with both server and
 client
 (= XWiki) certificates? If so, how to set up that feature?
 Many thanks for your response.

Re: [xwiki-users] Wrong regexp in sendmail function?

2014-03-04 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Of course I modify shareinline.vm to use
xwiki.getXWikiPreference('admin_email') value.

But I think your test must be:
is there a valid admin_email configured? (regexp to verify the mail format)
├ yes: use the admin_email
└ no :is the server name an IP?
  └ yes: use a generic nodomain.net
  └ no: use the actual domain name

... but it is my advice :-)

Thxs for yours answers.

[...] is how IPv6 IPs are written. So the regexp detects if the hostname
is an IPv4 or an IPv6 raw IP.

The current logic is:

is the server name an IP?
├ yes: is there a valid admin_email configured?
│ ├ yes: use the admin_email
│ └ no: use a generic nodomain.net
└ no: use the actual domain name

What you want:
- always use the configured admin_email

The only way to do that is to change the shareinline.vm template (see
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/DevGuide/Skins for details
about how to properly override a template) and change the order of the
conditions.

 Hello Pascal.
 From what I understand, this regex validates either:

    - An IP address (4 groups of 1 to 3 digits, dot separated)

 So maybe it will work if you add brackets to your server name? And yes, I
 find it a bit strange, me too. :-)

 Hope it helps,

 Hello

 I think there are a wrong regexp in sendmail function in
 templates/shareinline.vm (xwiki 5.4.1)

 #if ($serverName.matches('\[.*\]|(\d{1,3}+\.){3}+\d{1,3}+'))
     #if ($!{xwiki.getXWikiPreference('admin_email')} != '')
       #set ($sender = $!{escapetool.q($sender)}
 $!{xwiki.getXWikiPreference('admin_email')})
     #else
       #set ($sender = $!{escapetool.q($sender)} nore...@domain.net)
     #end
   #else
     #set ($sender = $!{escapetool.q($sender)} noreply@$!{serverName})
   #end

 I filled admin_email and my my nameserver is iwiki.cp2i.i2 but i tried
 with iwiki.cp2i.fr to.

 I don't understand very well the regexp (writing a regexp is simpler to
 read it) but when I send a mail with xwiki I felt in #set ($sender =
 $!{escapetool.q($sender)} noreply@$!{serverName}) condition...

[xwiki-users] Authentication and wizard problem on 5.4.2

2014-03-06 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I installed xwiki 5.4.2 from scractch (because the upgrade from 5.4.1 didn't
work well)
I use the .WAR on tomcat server and postgres database.

The Wizard to install the UI extension aren't launch on first boot. Are there a
way to manuelly launch?

And worst the Admin/admin account doesn't work! (Invalid credentials)

Am I alone?

Sure!

My guess is that you’re reusing an existing xwiki data dir and
in that dir the DW has been marked as having been executed for
5.4.2. Deleting the
[datadir]/jobs/status/distribution/status.xml should work.

 And worst the Admin/admin account doesn't work! (Invalid

That means that your database is empty / doesn’t contain the
XWiki.Admin page.

Make sure your hibernate.cfg.xml is configured correctly.

 Am I alone?

Most likely yes ;)
Fortunely for xwiki :-)

Thxs: your quick answers help me a lot (I think I modified my datadir path: I
put it
on another directory..).

I will check my database. Admin account is created by the
distribution wizard then?

 I keep you in touch tomorrow ... because my remote access ...
doesn't work ever!

NB: the status.xml file is documented somewhere?

I might have hit a similar problem. I have left a note on
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Features/DistributionWizard#Comments
but I am not sure it will be read there:

Using version 5.4.2 from Debian packages. Thanks for this guide, but it is
not clear how to get from step You will be prompted to insert credentials
for the Administrator, which are Admin/admin. to step After the
instalation is complete, you can click on the Continue button to proceed to
the next step. (It would be easier to refer to the sections if they had
numbers...). After logging in with Admin/admin,  I had to go back to the
distribution wizard manually, like so:

- use the browser back /history button to navigate to the
../distribution/... link.
- click on INSTALL or  DETAILS. There will be an error message.
- Navigate back and forth until the XWiki Enterprise - UI - Main wiki
extension is displayed as installed and the CONTINUE button is shown.

Any other action leaves you stuck in an incompletely installed wiki with no
way of finishing the setup. The recommended solution to re-run the
distribution wizard (see
http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/Why+does+the+Distribution+Wizard+fail+to+appear+after+an+install)
did not work to get back to the wizard, at least not for me.
I am sure this is a bug. I could reproduce it at least three times.

I also am experiencing a lot of untranslated message keys, and the wiki
extension is not working. Is there a way this can be fixed?

You need to increase permanent space (parameter -XX:MaxPermSize), which
is used for static objects, and which is never deallocated, e.g.
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m

Hi,

{{include document=Pagefille2 anchor=MonAncre3/}}
since 'anchor' is not a valid parameter actually it will include the whole
document.

{{include reference=Pagefille2 section=MonAncre3/}}
error

{{include reference=Pagefille2 section=HSection3/}}
working

So apparently you cannot create manual sections.

A section is considered the content after a heading, and for this the
auto-generated id is taken, not the manual one.

So even if you manually declare
{{id name=MonAncre3/}}

this will not be considered a section.

In order to use that section you need to provide the generated id and that is
usually build as 'H[Heading_name]'. You can inspect the source to find it out.

I'm not sure if there is another simpler/manual solution to declare and use
sections since I haven't used sections very often.

Thanks,

Caty

Hi,

If you look at the {{include}} macro documentation
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Include+Macro you'll see
that there is no 'anchor' parameter, only 'section'. That's why you get the
macro error. Don't use 'anchor', replace it with 'section'.

I think I can use xwiki.users.initialGroups property for my ldap user because
the first time my ldap user log on my new xwiki, a new user associate is

Anyway, actually I'm testing ACL with some different user case like: someone

Have you a advanced documentation about this?

There is not really a special group containing LDAP users.

You have two possibilities:
* if you don't plan to create user that don't come from LDAP you can
simply add a group in xwiki.users.initialGroups property in xwiki.cfg
file. Each time a new XWiki user is created it will be added to this
group. This is the best for performances.
* user LDAP group membership, see
xwiki.authentication.ldap.group_mapping property in xwiki.cfg file

Depends how advanced you need it to be but you can map LDAP groups
(it's actually more than what is generally called groups in LDAP
world) and you a few related documentation on
http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/LDAPAuthenticationUseCases#HIwanttobeabletoreuseLDAPusersmembershipinXWiki
and above xwiki.authentication.ldap.group_mapping property in
xwiki.cfg itself.

Import or use the opendocument viewer, the PDF (wihout filter style) export

Do you have a solution to display nice table or avoid this crash?

NB: OpenOffice export fortunely work well

I think the PDF export fails because of the inline CSS style. Can you
tell us precisely how your user pasted this content? Since 5.0 the
content pasted directly in the WYSIWYG editor rich text area is
cleaned automatically ( http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-8852 ). I
copy pasted your content to a different page using the WYSIWYG
editor and the new cleaned page was exported to PDF without any
problem.

Hope this helps,

You need to increase permanent space (parameter -XX:MaxPermSize), which
is used for static objects, and which is never deallocated, e.g.
-XX:MaxPermSize=256m

Hello,

It may be something else (see error about AsyncHttpClient-Callback), but
basically it seems you JVM is missing memory. 800m may be a bit too small. I
know it's the recommendation for large installs, but in my case at least I had
to put more than that (about 1724m, but there's no generic number of course).

Is your wiki very big ? (in terms of number of pages for example)

Also it seems a bit weird that PermSize is larger than MaxPermSize in you
OPTS.

Re: [xwiki-users] Include section doesn't work or wich documentation I must read for xwiki 5.4.2?

2014-03-18 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
The include function is hard to use with some non-us special character like
french: éèà'ç ...

By example, if I want to include this section: Séct-io'n 4  I must use this
include
{{include reference=Pagefille2 section=HSE9ct-io27n4/}}

I must replace special character with unicode code:
http://www.utf8-chartable.de/

Is this a bug?
I can use another way?

NB: anchor  doesn't work with include.

Hi,

If you look at the {{include}} macro documentation
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Include+Macro you'll see
that there is no 'anchor' parameter, only 'section'. That's why you get the
macro error. Don't use 'anchor', replace it with 'section'.

Thanks,

Am I right?

To resolve my problem I edited this page in object mode:
 /bin/edit/Dashboard/WebHome?editor=object
and add a new Objets XWiki.GadgetClass (6) type with:
a title and this content to display my stats:
{{velocity}}
  {{html wiki=true}}
    #set ($chartWidth = 380)
    #displayPanelLayout(2 ['Stats.MostViewedPages'])
  {{/html}}
##J'ai mis les droits de lecture pour Allgroup à Stats/Macros et
Stats/MostViewedPages
{{/velocity}}

Hello,

I didn't manage to add Most Viewed Spaces Panel  on my xwiki homepage.
Do you a way to do that?
I tested include or insert macro in inline mod (statitstic isn't display in
list of choice)
The only way is to add this panel at left or right side?

[xwiki-users] need help for link checker trough a http proxy

2014-03-26 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

I use link checker functionnality to check the validity of external URL
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Link+Checker+Transformation
There are a way to indicate my proxy?
My web server is behind a proxy and the url checker can't verify trough it.
Internet URL aren't verified but intranet URL can be verified (because for the
moment my webserver don't need a proxy to see intranet site)

I launch my tomcat with:

I tested this extension to:

A bug?
The table bin/view/XWiki/ExternalLinks can't be sorted even if I modify this
code:
#set($columnsProperties = {
    'link' : { 'type' : 'text', 'sortable' : true, 'link' : 'field' },
    'page' : { 'type' : 'text', 'sortable' : true, 'link' : 'field' },
    'code' : { 'type' : 'text', 'sortable' : true },
    'date' : { 'type' : 'text', 'sortable' : true }
})

NB: this code indicate ''description' : 'This table lists the states of all
external links found on this wiki. The columns can be sorted.'

Sounds like a proxy issue then. Either there is an issue with the
proxy configuration or there is a bug related to proxies in this
version (probably related to AETHER upgrade in 6.0M1).

If you are absolutely sure the exact same setup works with 5.4.2 then
would be great if you could create a bug issue on
http://jira.xwiki.org will all environment details.

Hi,

If you’re referring to the sandbox wiki, we do this once to save the mysql data:

mysqldump -uxwiki -ppass here --add-drop-database playground
/root/playground/playground.sql

And then every
 day with a os-level cron job:
/usr/bin/mysql playground  /root/playground/playground.sql

You can easily do that with an XWiki Scheduler job and use scripting to copy

Space creation is at XWiki Level, page creation is at Space Level.

You can configure XWiki so that nobody can create new spaces, but within a
space everybody can create/edit pages. No need for any scripting :-)

[xwiki-users] newsletter extension doesn't work

(My user subscribe at my newsletter and xwiki.mailsender.sendHtmlMessage work
well)

On Xwiki 5.4.2 the scheduler doesn't lauch my test job but on 6.0RC1, the
scheduler work well with this test job.

Then, I copy/paste newsletter job code on another page (between
{{groovy}}{{/groovy}}  and I obtain a lot of errors:

Failed to execute the [groovy] macro

Re: [xwiki-users] launch scheduled job and flamengo skin with table

2014-04-25 Thread Pascal BASTIEN

 Yes but my question is: can I launch some scheduled jobs of scheduler
 application by cron (on linux system)
 My site web hosting does not like quartz and prefer cron.

You can do whatever you want. In your cron script you’ll just need to call some
wiki page that contains the script to execute. Either using the XWiki REST API
or simply using curl to call a page.

Thanks so are they a way to send login/password by URL? because my xwiki
 Prevent unregistered users from viewing pages, regardless of the page
or space rights

  With flamengo skin on xwiki 6.0RC1 this table:

 No I mean that vertical lines are invisible and forecolor of first line is
 blank.

Vertical line is normal I believe. See http://getbootstrap.com/css/#tables

Heading columns are in bold which is what separates them from the rest, again
see http://getbootstrap.com/css/#tables

These are the
 defaults which you can obviously change if you don’t like them.

OK thanks you

I tested a simple curl request with login/password and my groovy macro is

anyway this request doesn't launch groovy code:

Edward.
The story I
will tell you may seem crazy, you will find exciting or perhaps
annoying, but you should read it to the end .. That's all I have to say
..
It is simply the story of a man named Edward.
Edward's
father and recently married to Hailey, a young blonde woman, looking
like a femme fatale-length hair, chestnuts brown eyes, luscious lips,
and a pretty bright complexion.
...

...

Thus, the love of two fools, was considered much more important than the life
of the mother of the son of Eward ..
The latter, who was in bed, a few hundred meters from here, will be

history, probably decades, or perhaps even for life .

[xwiki-users] include problem with french characters

2014-05-28 Thread Pascal BASTIEN
Hello,

The include function is to hard to use with some non-us  character like french:
éèà'ç ...

By example, I have a document with this section:

= Level1 - Séct-io'n 4 =

Bla bla

if I want to include this section: Level1 - Séct-io'n 4  I must use this
include
{{include reference=Pagefille2 section=HLevel1-SE9ct-io27n4/}}

I must replace special character with unicode code:
http://www.utf8-chartable.de/

I can use another way?
I must open a bug on http://jira.xwiki.org/ ?

I understand the constraint by ID specification.

In this case idGenerator.generateUniqueId must remove all character not in
[A-Za-z0-9:_.-] regexp and add -1 if we have twice the same heading

It will be simpler for user I think.

... or better (but more complexe for developper) replace à by a, ç by c
etc.

I will propose that at JIRA.

Hi Pascal,

Internally we generate an anchor id based on the heading text:

    /**
     * Generate a unique id attribute using the passed text as the seed value.
The generated id complies with the XHTML
     * specification. Extract from a
href=http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/#C_8;XHTML RFC/a:
     * p
     * code When defining fragment identifiers to be backward-compatible,
only strings matching the pattern
     * [A-Za-z][A-Za-z0-9:_.-]* should be used./code
     * /p
     *
     * @param prefix the prefix of the identifier. Has to match [a-zA-Z].
     * @param text the text used to generate the unique id
     * @return the unique id. For example Hello world will generate prefix +
Helloworld.
     */
    public String generateUniqueId(String prefix, String text)

Called with:

    id = idGenerator.generateUniqueId(H, text);

This is why for the text “Level1 - Séct-io'n 4” we generate
“HLevel1-SE9ct-io27n4

What we could do though is allow the user to enter the heading text instead of
the id and generate the id internally. However there’s stil the issue that
generateUniqueId will generate a unique id (if you have twice the same heading,
the second heading id will have “-1” suffixed..

In any case I agree it’s not user-friendly for this use case but also when
specifying the anchor in the wiki link syntax and you should open a JIRA issue
IMO.

Thanks
-Vincent

Yes hyperlink with anchor work with (%id=mycustomid%) but not the include

Then the problem is the include instruction: it didn't work if the id is not

My master page

{{include document=fille section=Htitre1/}}

this include working well

{{include document=fille section=mycustomid/}}
this include doesn't work

My child page

-= titre 1 =
bla bla titre
source is id=Htitre1

(%id=mycustomid%)
= Level1 - Séct-io'n 4 =
Bla bla Séct-io'n 4
source is id=mycustomid

I will pull this afternoom (I'm hungry)

 If yes how? In comment?

Ideally in the git commit you should use the following format:

JIRA ISSUE ID, e.g. XWIKI-1000 : summary from JIRA

.vm files are Velocity code, not XWiki syntax so if you want to include
a page, you could do
$xwiki.getDocument(BacASable.PiedDePage).getRenderedContent()
which would output the relevant html.

Thanks,

DW steps are enabled only when there is something to do, if you
already installed the UI you will not get that step again.

Hi Pascal,

How did you install the AutoCompletion Application? Did you use the Extension
Manager?

As you can see at the bottom [1] of the extension's page, it depends on the
Syntax Highlighting Application [2]. This is not an application by itself, but
rather a plugin for the Syntax Highlighting Application that enables
autocompletion, so you need to have them both installed.

I strongly suggest that you install it through the Extension Manager as it will
automatically take care of installing the Syntax Highlighting Application and
any other direct or indirect dependencies.

If EM is not an option and you insist on installing it manually, make sure to
follow the chain of dependencies and install all the required components. I do
not recommend you do this because it can be tedious and error prone.

After successfully installing the Syntax Highlighting Application and the
AutoCompletion Application, open a wiki page and type inside a velocity macro
$xwiki. (without quotes) and then hit CTRL+SPACE.

There are still some issues to be fixed with it, so please report [3] any
problems you have with using it.

Let me know if that helped.

Thanks,
Eduard

   Hello,
   I need some help with my velocity script.
   I try to remove history of pages on a space.
   This code work well for a page:

   {{velocity}}
   $xwiki.getDocument('BacASable.TestPage3').getDocument().resetArchive($context.context)
   {{/velocity}}

   but my script fail when I launch this one to remove history of all
   BacASable space Page

   {{velocity}}
   #foreach ($docName in $xwiki.getSpaceDocsName(BacASable))
   $xwiki.getDocument(BacASable.$docName).getDocument().resetArchive($context.context)
   * history of BacASable.$docName removed
   #end
   {{/velocity}}

   I obtain this error:

   Caused by: org.hibernate.NonUniqueObjectException: a different object
   with the same identifier value was already associated with the session:
   [com.xpn.xwiki.doc.rcs.XWikiRCSNodeInfo#com.xpn.xwiki.doc.rcs.XWikiRCSNodeId@2ff3ff58[docId=9026427162423984573,version=4.1]]

   Note: deletion of WebHome history doessn't work:
   $xwiki.getDocument('BacASable.WebHome').getDocument().resetArchive($context.context)
