for the global XWiki export, do I do that by asking a rar export from the
main webhome?

Or do i have to do it for each page separately?

 That should be manageable.

that looks easier!

Will that work with the user profiles? I guess so since these are pages?

[xwiki-users] RSS works only once ...

2010-01-28 Thread Xavier Bartholome
I have made the changes proposed by Anca Luca, but the RSS feed does not
update itself!

If I subscribe to the feed I see the latest changes, but the next changes
never appear.

It is as if the feed works only the one time that it is imported in the
reader (and I have tried two readers) and not afterwards ...

Any idea?

Without RSS notification, my whole project goes down the drain!

[xwiki-users] Still have a problem with the RSS feed ...

2010-01-26 Thread Xavier Bartholome
I asked how to set up the RSS feed the other day and was quickly pointed to
Anca Luca's answer (
http://lists.xwiki.org/pipermail/users/2010-January/018932.html), which I
was able to implement.

The RSS feed did work ... on that day, but not any more ... ?

Can anyone help me?

[xwiki-users] Problems with trying to add links to specific spaces in the Quick Links panel

2010-01-21 Thread Xavier Bartholome
Hi All,

I'm trying to add links to various Spaces to the QuickLinks panel, but I
can't seem to get the code right ...

I'm trying to link to a Space called 'Infos Utiles', which is at
http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Infos+utiles/

I copied the code that links to the Sandbox = *
[$msg.get(xe.panels.quicklinks.sandbox)Sandbox.WebHome]

And I guess that I should adapt the xe.panels.quicklinks.sandboxto
xe.panels.quicklinks.infos+utiles

and the Sandbox.WebHometo Infos+Utiles.WebHome

I'm not sure about the '+', but anyway, when I save it, my panel has the
following link :
xe.panels.quicklinks.infos+utileshttp://192.168.5.165:8080/xwiki/bin/edit/Infos%2BUtiles/WebHome?parent=Panels.QuickLinksthat
goes to
http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/edit/InfosUtiles/WebHome?parent=Panels.QuickLinks

What am I doing wrong?

[xwiki-users] QuickLink Panel problem (coninued)

2010-01-21 Thread Xavier Bartholome
Vincent,

I thought the '+' would be an issue, but my problem is not solved yet I'm
afraid

I changed the code to

* [$msg.get(xe.panels.quicklinks.infos utiles)Infos utiles.WebHome]

And while it does send me to the correct space, the text in the panel is
still xe.panels.quicklinks.infos
utileshttp://192.168.5.165:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Infos+utiles/instead
of Infos
Utiles ...

I would tend to believe that the $msg.get(xe.panels.quicklinks.infos
utiles) instruction does not find the information it needs, and just shows
itself instead ... which means that an information is missing somewhere in
the space paramaters ...

But I have no idea what or where it should be filled in ... !

2010-01-14 Thread Xavier Bartholome
Hello again,

the RSS feeds of the wiki do not seem to be working.

I tried subscribing to them using once my regular GReader, and also in
Outlook, to no avail ...

Is there something specific to be parametered in the Wiki or on the Server?

[xwiki-users] FAQ Application tutorial not working

2008-06-30 Thread xavier . bartholome
Hi everyone,

I searched the archive, and found some problems related to the FAQ
application tutorial, but none the same as the one I'm experienting.

I'm using version 1.4 of Xwiki, with the bundled HSQLDB database.

I went through the FAQ Application tutorial (twice) without problem. But
when I get to the end, and want to try it out by creating the document
Whatisthemeaningoflife, I get a message telling me that the page does
not exist, and that I should edit it. If I try to edit, I get a normal
blank page to edit ...

I don't think I did anything wrong, remember I did it twice, but it could
well be ...

Does anybody have an idea?

Thanks in advance,
