Hi

I did install openoffice Importer application 7.1.1 and tried too. Even
then it is not working. Also, open office is not starting automatatically
when I start xwiki wven the settings are ON for autorun in the properties
as well as start.batch file. Please help me if there are any fixes for this.

You may have to install some plugin for OpenOffice to support opening PDF
files, at least that's what this comment

reliable when it comes to PDF import (PDF to HTML conversion).
