You could give a look to the way users can reply to posts by quoting them in the Bulletin Board Application -> it works a bit similarly. See http://code.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Applications/BulletinBoardApplication , specifically the BBCode.TopicClassSheet page's wiki code. I assume this change, if possible, should be made on templates/comments2.vm and/or templates/commentsinline.vm, but I'm a bit lost. Has anything similar been done?
