You mean the blog content ?

You won't have a direct getXDOM() for object properties but you can
use the rendering script service to parse any String content into an
XDOM (which is essentially what XWikiDocument#getXDOM() does). You can
get the syntax of the content from the document (#getSyntaxId()).

See
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Rendering+Module#HRenderingScriptService.

thanks,

Got it:

#set($test2Doc =
$xwiki.getDocument('Sandbox.testImageCount').getTranslatedDocument())

#foreach($imageBlock in
$test2Doc.getDocument().getXDOM().getBlocks("class:ImageBlock", "DESCENDANT"))
   $imageBlock.getReference().reference

But can I do the same for a Blog attribute: (extract) ?

You can parse any content into XDOM and then search for ImageBlock in
it. See http://rendering.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/GettingStarted#HExamples.

We usually use plain text rendered (id "plain/1.0") for this.
Basically you use rendering framework to parse the content and then
serialize it with a special plain text renderer.

I needed to do it on the same page (space) blog (because it contains all
others our site content. I was trying to avoid the work of moving the
contents. If there is no other solution, I will make the movement of
content)

Maybe the Display Macro

help. On a separate page you write the content you want and then you
display the blog post using the Display Macro.

Hope this helps,

You need to add a parameter in the URL:

I don't know how you built your URL, but if you're using wiki syntax,

Re: [xwiki-users] Content

2015-06-01 Thread Mahomed Hussein
Vincent, I think from his description, he is wanting to know if there's a way
to make .csr files prompt to download instead of displaying the contents in the
browser. I don't think this is an XWiki issue per se. But there might be a way
of changing the header/filetype descriptor for .csr files? Otherwise I think
the only other solution is to tell the webserver to not serve the .csr files
and make them downloadable instead.

This is similar behaviour to text files. They will display the content in the
browser by default unless you change the content type header or tell the web
server to allow it to force to download.

Unfortunately I don't know how to make XWiki do this (or tomcat for that
matter).

Kind regards,

Mahomed

I don’t understand what you’re asking.

The link I gave you allows you to create a link to an attachment and
anyone who clicks on it will download the attachment.

What do you want exactly?

Thanks

My problem is probably rare :p I would like to add as attachment .csr

I want the content of a page ($doc.content) but without the include

Filtering after getting all content is to time consuming.

[xwiki-users] Content Restriction Question

2010-02-02 Thread Rick Hadsall
All,

Is there a way to hide content by group within XWiki? For example, if I
wanted a panel to show a link that only group foo has access to, how
could I make it so only users with group foo see the link in the panel
(because only group foo has access to the page/space that the link
ponits to)?

Really sorry for the late reply. I was busy these few days.

Yes, we are working on improving the presentation import and we plan to
integrate this into XE with office preview feature. But this might take some
time (XE 2.3 at least).

Thanks for reporting this.

[xwiki-users] Content and diff field are contradicting

* When I edit part of a page, only that part is kept and the rest is lost
* When I edit a page, i lost the history (only SuperAdmin can view and
restore from the history)
* WhatsNew doesn't display modification

All this error appears since the upgrade to 1.9 version

In my log, 2 lines are repeated :
* [WARNING] Deprecated usage of getter [com.xpn.xwiki.api.Document.getWeb]
* WARN rcs.XWikiPatch - isDiff: Patch is inconsistent. Content and diff
field are contradicting

My installation of xwiki is very very old. I maintain the same bdd
(mysql) since the version 0.7 (and older yet, I think). Early June, I
updated from 1.2 to 1.8 and few days later, 1.8 to 1.9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
