Re: [xwiki-users] Office importer splitter problem

2010-09-05 Thread Pidoux75

I have the same problem at home (2.3.2) and at work (2.2.5).

When I try to import with splitter, seems to be work correctly, get the
message:

"Conversion succeeded. You can view the result, or you can Go back to
convert another document"

And if I click on result's link, I get the Notice:

"The requested document could not be found.
You can edit this page to create it. "

But, the worst of that, there are some page created but not at all where
they sould be created.

Like "4System Requirements" (the fourth title in heading 1 from my imported
document!! ) which has replaced the Main.WebHome from My_Wiki>XWiki>WebHome
! (but apparently, changed only the title of the page)

But the worst again, the page from my main Wiki (in my farm) has changed has
well with the same title but also the contents of the page from my imported
document!

You must choose the criterion for splitting, I think you have to select the
heading level based on which the document should be split. If you pick H3
level and there are no H3 headers, I don't think the document would be split
- at least this is how i remember.

Hope this helps.

[xwiki-users] Office importer splitter problem

2010-09-03 Thread Schaefers, Marcus
Hi all,

The office importer works fine for importing a document in one page with
the "append result" option. Now I'm trying to import a big office
document (more than 300 documentpages) in about 100 xwikipages. When I
try to use the splitter and import the document no XWiki pages are
created and attached to the the target space. I tried to import a small
document with... the same result. I can't figure out what I'm doing
wrong. Is there a syntax voor the source document (headers?)?

Any advise would be really great.

Regards, Marcus
