I cannot reproduce on XWiki 8.2.1 with the default search page. If you have
a custom search page then you need to see where that empty line comes from
and remove it. When you sort or filter the search results the search UI
makes an AJAX request to the server to get the updated UI and replaces the
<users@xwiki.org>
