You may make your own version of a CUPS driver.

See: CUPS PPD Extensions at https://www.cups.org/doc/spec-ppd.html

It is a challenge, but can be done.

(5.4.5.1,GNU/Linux,cups) I want to use paper formats, which are
not predefined in LibreOffice (8x12 and different custom labels
(autocutting device)).
I can set the page dimensions manually (e.g. in Writer), but no way  to
use the corresponding (in ppd defined) paper formats in the printer
