It's a feature in v1.0 that didn't make it to v1.1. While you can write
a script that will check the event "9 REQUEST DOWNLOAD", the method
RequestDownload that the CPE should send is no longer supported.

"9 REQUEST DOWNLOAD"

2018-02-04 Thread David White
HI there,
   I have a router that issues a 9 REQUEST DOWNLOAD with bootstrap.

I have a new firmware loaded for this devices under files.

I was under the impression that the ACS would then update the firmware.

I have tried doing this with a preset and the configuration as
“software_version”

However this crashes the cwmp process.

genieacs-cwmp: 2018-02-02T02:26:06.821Z [ERROR] Uncaught exception;
exceptionName="Error" exceptionMessage="Unknown configuration type
software_version" exceptionStack="Error: Unknown configuration type
software_version\n at
/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/lib/local-cache.js:197:30\n at handleCallback
(/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb/lib/utils.js:120:56)\n at
/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb/lib/cursor.js:860:16\n at
handleCallback
(/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb-core/lib/cursor.js:171:5)\n
 at setCursorNotified
(/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb-core/lib/cursor.js:515:3)\n
 at
/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb-core/lib/cursor.js:590:16\n
at queryCallback
(/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb-core/lib/cursor.js:232:18)\n
 at
/usr/lib/node_modules/genieacs/node_modules/mongodb-core/lib/connection/pool.js:469:18\n
 at _combinedTickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:73:7)\n at
process._tickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:104:9)"

I assume this is because that configuration hasn’t been implemented yet. How
would I go about this?

Cheers,

David.
