Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] OpenSIPS as SBC

Note that when I'm talking about a proxy, I am not saying blindly passing messages. You will still be able to normalize traffic, impose security, or use any OpenSIPS module that does the specifics of your requirements. My point is that you don't need B2B capabilities for an SBC, as this will

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] location table having private ip in contact

2018-12-05 Thread Răzvan Crainea
If you are doing lookup, you should use an AOR (such as 4810338...@myitpl.inextrix.com), not an user@IP. Can you show us how you are calling lookup() from your script? If you are looking to check if an IP is registered, you should use the is_ip_registered() function[1], but I doubt that's what

Re: [OpenSIPS-Users] Not enough memory to sync cluster data

2018-12-05 Thread Răzvan Crainea
@Alexei: unfortunately there is no way in OpenSIPS to auto-scale the private or public memory - you'll have to decide from the beginning how much traffic you are going to support and scale the memory usage accordingly. Syncing cannot be done using shared memory, so the only solution I can see

Hi guys, I think  Alexey's point is different:  the idea is that PKG memory is used to store data which is proportional to SHM memory.  The same type of problem exists with the dialog/usrloc MI "dump" commands: "since dialogs and contacts are stored in SHM, can we really expect to be able to

[OpenSIPS-Users] UAC module causing malformed CANCEL

2018-12-05 Thread Ben Newlin
Hello, I have found an issue with using the UAC module to replace the From/To headers. When one of these headers is the last header in a SIP INVITE, the UAC module is injecting an extra line break in subsequent CANCEL requests causing an invalid request. This happens when either of these

Hi all, Thank you @Liviu, this is exactly what I mean. Either use SHM or may be split all data into smaller parts to fit PKG memory. This is just thoughts. Because if people start using real data in cluster they will reach PKG limit very fast. -- Sent from:
