Is see two questions here...
1) Can an outside computer connect to the desktop on your computer?
"Out of the box" no. Computers are not usually set up to enable remote
connections when first set up. However there are many things that can be
done to enable remote connections on purpose or can
"...file does not exist..." can happen when a file's location changes (so
the file still exists) but the "recent files" entry in the menu is pointing
to the last place the file was. So, the exact file name, including the
path, referred to in the menu doesn't exist any more.

In Draw, a picture can be turned right side up by:
- right-click the picture
- select "Position and Size..." from the menu
- select "Rotation" tab
- specify "Angle" to rotate
