Hallo Kurt,

sehen, was Du angefügt hast.

Probiere bitte mal Folgendes:
Pfad

/Benutzer:innen//Library/Application
Support/OpenOffice

Diesen Ordner kannst Du gefahrlos umbenennen, NACHDEM Du OpenOffice beendet
hast, so bleiben darin abgelegte persönliche Wörterbücher und eigene Vorlagen
erhalten.

neuen Ordner anlegen.
Nun kannst Du testen, ob Du weiterhin obskure Meldungen erhältst.

mir was sagen kann.

dafür an.

Nebeninformation:

Was meinst Du mit "Freischaltung"?

Hello,

Microsoft Support responded last night after I had gone to bed. Support
gave me a Powershell command to reverse the Windows 11 update. I had to
execute the Powershell command 3 times and restart each time but it did
work.

I then clicked on the "X" and OpenOffice displayed OpenOffice 4.1.12

I restarted Windows 11.

OpenOffice did the same with a spreadsheet file I attempted to open.

Sollten Sie keinesfalls tun.

herunterladen:
http://www.openoffice.org/de/download/index.html

Hi Andrea,

Sorry for the late reply. Forgot to check the ML sooner.
I tried to lower the security settings but no change.
Will do with that for the moment, kind of too much a hassle to get an
old version to test on a corporate machine.

Thanks anyway!

updating the file.

This might be a side effect of a security fix done in 4.1.2. Things
you can do to verify this include: setting the security level
(confusingly called "Macro security level" in our UI) to the most
permissive option; or checking (just for testing purposes) with 4.1.1
and see if it behaves the way you expect.

Hello,

that the updater gives an update error is a known issue. A possible fix has
been discussed, but not executed. If the plan works out and our analysis are
correct the fix has to be done on the server which offers the updates.
Todo is on dev side.

A translation problem: in this case actual is equivalent to the "current"
version.

I agree with Martin; one needs to understand and allow for differences in

There is a known problem with the 'update' in AOO. In any case, all it
does is let you know there is an update available and you need to go to
http://www.openoffice.org/download/ to download and install a later
version of AOO.

The most recent version of AOO is 4.1.7; if you have an earlier version
you may wish to visit the above link to download the latest version.
Please make sure you read the installation instructions linked from that
page.

Hi,

I updated to 4.1.7 and anticipated that it was in my native language SWEDISH.
Noted too late that it was the US/English version and now I cannot access my
Open Office files and I cannot save.
I cannot copy and save elsewhere since the files are in different format!
I cannot find the administrator box, since I am the administrator and I cannot
replace 4.1.7 with the Seedish version since system tells it is already
installed!

How to:
1. Administrator box/field/file??
2. Change the US/English version to the Swedish version??
3. Trust the format will be correct IF I get the Swedish version up and running.

Dann wirst Du

Attachments are not allowed on the mailing list, so we do not know what the
error message is.

Taking a guess that the original poster is using Windows, a common message is
to "close any running version of OpenOffice"; this occurs of the Quickstarter
is running, closure of which is often overlooked by the user. If this is the
case, start TaskManager (Ctrl Shift Esc) and kill all "soffice" processes shown
on TM's Processes (or in Win10, its Details tab). Exit TaskManager and then
try to install the new version of OpenOffice again. Note the leading s in
"soffice" for the name of the processes to kill

Having OpenOffice not Running (was RE: Update problem)

2016-01-20 Thread Dennis E. Hamilton
So long as OpenOffice is still installed on Windows, problems with
installations because AOO is running, even though not evident, are a bit easier
to handle within AOO itself, rather than the user needing to understand how to
use the Windows Task Manager without fear. Here's a procedure that may be a
bit easier for all users:

 1. Open Apache OpenOffice.
No need to open a document, just start OpenOffice and get the "dashboard"
view that offers the different applications.
(This is the plain OpenOffice entry in the PCs all-programs list, rather
than OpenOffice Writer, Calc, ... .)
Alternatively, you can open a document if that is how you normally get into
OpenOffice. It won't be used for anything.

 2. On the Menu Bar along the top of the opened Window, click Tools > Options
to get the Options - OpenOffice dialog.

 3. On the sidebar, click "Memory" under the OpenOffice entry.

 4. On the Options - OpenOffice - Memory dialog, remove any checkmark under
"OpenOffice Quickstarter, Load OpenOffice during system start-up."

 5. Click OK

 6. Close OpenOffice.

 7. Restart your computer.

Your computer should now work a bit more smoothly when you aren't working in
OpenOffice. When you are, the first startup may take slightly longer than
usual. Many will not see any difference at all, especially on recent hardware
and operating systems.

Updating should now be much easier all of the time, as will other situations
blocked by OpenOffice running in the background.

ping ooo-updates.apache.org
sollte aufgelöst werden in 54.172.167.43
ein ping -a 54.172.167.43
nslookup ooo-updates.apache.org

The reason for the existence of the Check for updates functionality is
to notify people who don't regularly follow the mailing lists, and thus
are not informed that an update is available.

To those people, a few days of delay in notifications do not matter.
Actually, by default OpenOffice checks for updates only once a week.

Update notifications were enabled yesterday, 24 hours after the release.

 falsch.

Version nehmen soll, erscheint mir schon sonderbar.
deutlicher.

Jetzt
kannst Du entweder Keine Einschränkungen anklicken, AO einmal starten

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16673743/Test-Achse.ods

keine Exponenten „-1“ ordentlich schreiben.

Weitergabe an andere geeignet.

 Klappt sowas einwandfrei in OO?

Nein. Das ist dort genauso.

Was spricht prinzipiell gegen die Angabe m/s?

Ansonsten bleibt dir nur:

http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicodeblock_Hoch-_und_tiefgestellte_Zeichen

Klappt doch ganz gut: ms⁻¹²³⁰⁴⁵⁶⁷⁹...

Beispiel:

Hier in OO geht Alles, also beliebige Schriften (hasbe natürlich nicht Alle

Sollte helfen.
