Hi Itamar,
Apologies for the late reply.
1. it's case sensitive.
No problem, I'm only using lowercase
2. did you try running add host again?
Yes, completely removed the old host, and tried to re-install it.
I'm not sure what to try next.
Thank you!

Itamar, I concur with you.
I am aware of the dangers here (I edited metadata once already to test
recovering a storage domain in a test setup).
It took me a few tries and looking through the code that generate and
manipulates that data to get it right.

Dear oVirt-User-List,
when I try to connect to a spice-VM by clicking the console-button in the user
portal the Remote Viewer appears with the text Setting up spice session,
but a few seconds later it just quits without an error message.
Here are a few corresponding log-lines of engine.log:
Make sure your host is accessible and resolvable from the client machine
Check the Spice ports are open on the host

Hi,
Since today I'm unable to establish a spice session to any/all VMs - the

Hello
I am facing a problem using the ubuntu as virtual machine in oVirt.
I managed to install ubuntu without problem.
I could log on ubuntu without problem.
However, once the system logs on, the mouse pointer no longer appears and
disappears, leaving only a white one dot.
So I can not handle
