I suppose this could be more of a problem with init script than with proxy itself. Could you try running proxy without using service? i.e. go to the directory where the proxy is installed (should be /usr/share/ovirt-engine/services and run the proxy from there using './ovirt-websocket-proxy.py

Currently vdsm doesn't use the IFACE param at all, it simply tries to discover the target by IP, letting the kernel do the routing. So for multiple paths, you need to split the host NICs into different subnets, set up the portals on those subnets, and discover/login on those separate IPs from
