+1 for CentOS
It's currently probably the best tested and most stable platform when
looking at CentOS and Fedora.

I want to configure Kerberos authentication (via MS Active Directory) for the

So I need to properly configure the time synchronization for my Hosted Engine

I set up chronyd service in a HE VM for time synchronization from Active

Hi,
I've installed the LDAP AAA module for oVirt on the engine host, but I
suspect I also need to bind the host to the domain first as I am getting
'peer not authenticated' when I try the auth. Is it ok to install sssd and
the kerberos tools without on the engine host manually? I know that in

Those ids are hidden in the UI and you can reveal them from the db
```sql
select vds_spm_id,vds_name from vds_spm_id_map map,vds_static static where
map.vds_id = static.vds_id ;
```

Thanks Rafael. I forgot to mention that this is an AD host, which just uses
kerberos keytabs to establish trust, so it looks like the best option is to
install krb5 tools and sssd.

It's running on my vm01 host and when I tried to manually migrate it on
another host (vm03) which had a "ghost" VM count (it's a fresh cluster
install with just the HE running in it), the migration started, the VMs
count in vm03 went to 0 but then the HE machine got stuck in migration.

Hi,
Disk profile is not copied along with the virtual disk as part of disk
migration between storage domains.
You can create another disk profile in the target storage domain, which is
similar to source domain disk profile.

If you are trying to move the disk to another domain, you should do it via
the 'Move' button and not 'Edit' under the VM disk sub-tab.
I guess that by saying "move the vm" you're referring to move the VM disk
right?

The IDE in this tutorial is Eclipse[1], but there are many other IDEs
for Python. Worth to mention for example pydev[2] (build on top of

To set it up you must read the IDE documentation.
