After letting this sit for a few days, does anyone have any ideas as to how
to deal with my situation? Would anyone like me to send the SOS report
directly to them? It's a 9MB file.
If nothing comes up, I'm going to try and sift through the SOS report

Hmm, try:
pvscan /dev/vdc
Use fdisk to see if partitions can be read. Also, when you copied the data
with dd, did you use the oflag=fsync option? If not, your data could be
cached in memory waiting to be flushed to disk even though the dd command
completed. Try the copy again with
It should be supported, we'll need to check that.

Hi,
On Version 4.1.1.8-1.el7.centos,when trying to install
oirt-toolsSetup-4.1-3.fc24 on windows server 2016 get an error saying operating

files to the VM the network gets to slow until it
This seems like a case of O_DIRECT reads and writes gone wrong, judging by

Hi Krutika,
I am saying that I am facing this issue with 4k drives. I never encountered
this issue with 512 drives.

Hi Sahina,
Attached are the logs. Let me know if sth else is needed.
I have 5 disks (with 4K physical sector) in RAID5. The RAID has 64K stripe
size at the moment.
I have prepared the storage as below:
pvcreate --dataalignment 256K /dev/sda4
vgcreate --physicalextentsize 256K gluster /dev/sda4
Can we have the gluster mount logs and brick logs to check if it's the same
issue?

Hi,
Ok, thanks, I'll try that one.

Hello,
when using guest tools from here [1] it really complains about
unsupported Windows version.
But there is different version downstream, so maybe this is not latest
version?

You can get it from here:
http://plain.resources.ovirt.org/pub/ovirt-4.1/iso/oVirt-toolsSetup/oVirt-toolsSetup-4.1-5.fc24.iso
The issue is that it's currently missing from el7 thus the issue.

As soon as yous NAS goes down, qemu running the VMs will start getting EIO
errors and VMs will pause, so as to not lose any data. If the NAS upgrade
isn't a very long procedure, you might as well complete the updates, enable
the NAS, and unpause the VMs.

I have good news. With the IOProcess connection, I was suspecting maybe it
would be something with the system (BIOS related).
The Dell PE R730 was at BIOS version 2.2.5 and there was an update in April to
version 2.4.3 (with another inbetween these two). There were a couple of fixes
between the
Is it possible to force a connection to existing storage domains from a new
engine? I have a cluster that I can’t get the web console to restart, but
everything else is working. So I want to know if it’s possible to just remount
those storage domains to the new engine?
Also, how do I clear
The question that rises is what is needed to make gluster aware of the 4K
physical sectors presented to it (the logical sector is also 4K). The
offset (127488) at the log does not seem aligned at 4K.

I want to test oVirt with real hardware, no more nested VMs.
3 hosts, each vm will be Fedora (maybe CentOS, I prefer Fedora)
Since I don't want a nested setup, I assume the engine will require a
4th vm.
What is the install process?

For SAN system upgrades I've always scheduled a maintenance window, shut down

This is awesome, I've been playing w/ this on a centos host running
origin 1.5.1.
I've gotten stopped when I've tried to approve the host in the engine,
that fails with an error message
