I found another way to solve the problem.
But I do not know if it's the right way :(
So I decided to ask a question here. But none of the gurus answered.
# mkdir ~/packages
# cd ~/packages

There is, but its a bit sparse in the bug report - this worked for me
on Ubuntu, same

There's no crash... I think you should rephrase the subject.
I would put one of them in maintenance and run a reinstall. I am unsure of
the upgrade anomalies from 4.1 to 4.2 because i started on 4.2 with this
cluster. However it has worked for me in the past

Not sure what you mean by re-install because i am not able to do any action
from the UI on any host..even setting it to maintenance does not work.
In the meantime i suspect some kind of issue with SSL certificate or
something like that. Is there a way to update certificate (this part is a

Thank you very much for your help. I did it your way, successful build RPM and
installed successfully, these steps were smooth, but I click on the web Page or
"404 - Page not found".
I'm not quite sure where the problem is, is there a problem with the
environment or the configuration

I'll certainly be writing one of not many blog posts on the process and outcome
We've been wanting to switch to something

In that case move other SD to maintenance only the SD which you want to be
MSD keep Active. Then once you move your present MSD to maintenance, active
one will be MSD.

I've just discovered your work on running containers along vms in ovirt
and I'm really interested in it.
I found more recent details in
https://fromanirh.github.io/containers-in-ovirt.html but except this
mail and this blog, but it is difficult to find more. Nothing on the

I have 1 engine manager and 2 nodes. The 2 nodes are using local storage
(this is for testing out ovirt and learning about it). I cannot however add
2 hosts to the same cluster in the same data centre without shared storage.
Is there a workaround for this?
I'm sorry to say your suggestion is infeasible. This is a production
environment and I'm unable to put in maintenance any SD apart the one I
want to shutdown.
I was hoping there is some weighting mechanism to affect the choice of the
MSD but I didn't have the time to look at the algorithm
