Hi Jacob,
Currently only 8TiB limit is supported.
You can update (increase) the "MaxBlockDiskSizeInGibiBytes" value, but it
was not tested.
Either:
1) Preferred way - run from the deploy "bin" folder (enter new integer
value instead of XXX, currently it's 8192):
./engine-config --set
When I log in ovirt-engine,the username and password is correct.
But the error show "Unable to log in because the user account is disabled or
locked. Contact the system administrator."
How can I solve this problem ?

Dear ones,
I beg your pardon for coming back on the same issue: let me rephrase more

It prevents only the packager component.
If you already have 4.3.6 installed, which was the original question,
then engine-setup will still

can you please check if you have in your VM

Hey folks,
for production use quality it is recommended to have backend (storage)
and front end seperated. Let' assume:
- 85.0.0.0/24 public IP block
- 10.100.0.0/24 private IPs for DC internal usage
- 10.200.0.0/24 private IPs for storage only LAN
and running, as per recommendation 3

Of course, this should work.
The only point is that once 4.3.6 is released, it's
Login via ssh on the engine and unlock your user via ovirt-aaa-jdbc-tool tool.

Hello Christian,
That recommendation is for the hyper-converged
installation as the nodes are also the storage servers so you would choose the
storage addresses when setting up the gluster network.
The other thing is you may have to setup a display network proxy if your
Good day Francesco,
If I understand you correctly you can try the following via GUI:
1) Go to "Storage" menu.
2) Go to "Domain" menu.
3) Press "New Domain" button. The "New Domain" window will open.
4) Choose "iSCSI" from the "Storage Type" dropdown list.
5) At the "Discover Targets" section:
Hi Pavel,
thanks. This happens to be a prefect way to add a storage domain with all
the available paths; but unfortunately, I wanted to add the missing paths
for the hosted storage data domain, the data domain hosting the self-hosted
engine vm; and I'm not sure how to "change" the configs for
Thanks,
I should have been clearer, what I meant was could you install
4.3.5 and restore to that, then run engine-setup --offline?

I guess this is a little late now... but:
I wanted to do the same, especially because the additional servers (beyond 3)
would lower the relative storage cost overhead when using erasure coding, but
it's 'off the trodden path' and I cannot recommend it, after seeing just how

You can use the following command.
ovirt-aaa-jdbc-tool user unlock test1
