Anyway, long story short. I'm having a difficult time finding
documentation
on migrating from virt-manager to oVirt. As well as
NIC to whatever VLAN has the IP the engine sees and bridging that to
ovirtmgmt with the appropriate address would work. It may only need the
right bridge (ovirtmgmt, probably) defined. I've never experimented with
this aspect of it, to be honest.

Hey,
IIRC that is done by ovirt-host-deploy during the registration, yes.

I installed a fresh engine on CentOS 6.5, and 3.5 nodes on two nested VMs.
A significant portion of the day was spent testing basic Node
functionality to ensure we didn't have any more SELinux denials, install
problems on EFI, or other issues, after which I moved onto engine.

Anyone on list familiar with it?
It is, in essence, LXC containers combined with an overlay filesystem.
It's basic PaaS with a Go binary (docker) wrapped around LXC.

Hi Christopher --
You can get to a console by pressing F2 (I think this is blocked while the
progress bar is moving, but should be available after the exception, and
it's available at any point the installer is interactive).
This is a new issue to me.
Can you please file a bug report? An
Hey Sergey -
If you check "lvs" and ensure that there's not actually a new LV from the
update, you can cleanly 'rpm -e ovirt-node-ng-image-update', and be ok
without redeploying.
Unfortunately, it's hard to tell from the logs (and '--justdb' hanging)
what's happening here, but I'll try to

Hey Jeramy -
Can you boot anaconda with a serial console or SSH enabled to grab logs? It
would be interesting to see what happens here.

LVM sees a duplicate LV. Can you attach your engine log (or the yum log

The quick answer is that operations in %post must be performed before
'nodectl init'. If that's done, they'll happily stick.
